Description
Textilmatte fur die Begrünung von mutterbodenlosen ErdoberflächenTextile mat for greening soil surfaces without topsoil
The invention relates to a textile mat made of predominantly rotting fiber materials with a wave-shaped structured surface, consisting of a multi-layer element connected by thread or fiber seams with non-textile functional elements embedded in the cross-section, such as plant seeds, water reservoirs or fertilizers, which has optimal conditions for the growth, the necessary irrigation and the optical appearance for the greening of buildings without a topsoil-containing earth surface.
Textile multi-layer elements are well-known for reinforcing and greening surfaces. These consist of a load-bearing layer, a middle storage layer with seeds and nutrients, and a protective layer. On steep slopes of more than 50 degrees, the water used to irrigate the seeds and plants runs off very quickly with these multi-layer elements, so that only a small amount of moisture can penetrate into the soil below and thus into the zone of the plant roots.
Furthermore, textile grid mats are known for the protection and greening of soil layers at risk of erosion, in which textile strips are connected to form a mat-like reinforcement grid and anchored in the subsoil. The upper contours of these reinforcement grids are provided with a narrow seed strip, which makes it impossible to lay out the mat during periods of low vegetation or to green the intended area later.
In G 92 12 454.2 wird eine textile erosionsschützende Begrünungsmatte beschrieben, die aus einem Mehrschichtelement aus verrottbaren Sekundär- und Flachsfasern besteht, keinen Pflanzensamen enthält und für das nachträgliche oberflächliche Aufbringen des Pflanzensamens eine geeignete Oberflächenstruktur aufweist.G 92 12 454.2 describes a textile erosion-protecting greening mat which consists of a multi-layer element made of degradable secondary and flax fibres, contains no plant seeds and has a suitable surface structure for the subsequent superficial application of the plant seeds.
In der DE 41 35 714 wird eine wasserspeichernde Bodenschutz- und Erosionsschutzmatte beschrieben, die vorwiegend aus Kokosfasern, Strohhäcksel und Textilfasern besteht, in die flächig Wasserspeichermittel eingelagert sind.DE 41 35 714 describes a water-storing soil protection and erosion control mat, which consists mainly of coconut fibres, straw chips and textile fibres, into which water storage agents are embedded over a large area.
Der im Anspruch angegebenen Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, eine Textilmatte zu schaffen, mit der sowohl in der vegetationsgünstigen als auch in der vegetationsungünstigenThe invention specified in the claim is based on the problem of creating a textile mat with which both in the vegetation-favorable and in the vegetation-unfavorable

Zeit ebene geneigte Flächen ohne Mutterbodenoberfläche bzw. ohne zusätzlichen Mutterbodenauftrag sicher begrünt und Böschungen erosionssicher bebaut werden.Time, flat, inclined surfaces without topsoil surface or without additional topsoil application can be safely planted with greenery and slopes can be built on in an erosion-proof manner.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the middle layer of the multi-layer element with a weight of at least 400 g/m 2 has predominantly decomposable fibers and plant seeds, water storage elements and, if necessary, long-term fertilizer are scattered into it directly during layer formation. This heavy fiber layer is connected to a net-like lower layer that acts as a reinforcement and a grass-green upper fleece weighing 15-40 g/m 2 by thread or fiber tuft seams, whereby this quilting-like connection creates a wavy surface oriented transversely to the direction of production. These fiber tuft seams also consist to a high extent of decomposable fibers.
Fibres such as wool, rayon, flax, hemp, kenaf, nettle, jute, ramie, coconut, sisal etc. rot when used outdoors, releasing nutrients that act as soil improvers and reserve nutrients and promote the growth of the plants that take over the natural greening. The use of 20 - 50 g/m 2 absorber accelerates the germination and growth process considerably, significantly reduces the water loss from the mat on steep slopes and results in relatively even growth. The absorber is able to keep the mat moist for several days. This also weighs down the mat, which counteracts rear ventilation. The position of the seed in the upper third of the cross-section of the mat is optimal. On the one hand, the position of the water reservoir close to the ground is an advantage, as soil moisture constantly reaches it through capillarity. On the other hand, the seedling only has to penetrate a small layer of the mat surface before it reaches the energy-giving daylight. This textile mat, thanks to its structural design, fiber composition, functional elements and surface structure, ensures highly effective erosion protection even when installed at a steep incline until natural vegetation takes effect and the germination, growth and development of the plant seeds contained in it when the surface of the earth is devoid of topsoil.
The accompanying drawing shows a cross section of the textile mat according to the invention for the greening of soil surfaces without topsoil, consisting of three layers 1, 2 and
'3, which are connected to one another by thread or fiber seams to form a textile multi-layer element. The lower layer 1 serves as a strength-giving carrier and is formed, for example, from a fabric made of jute, which at the same time has an open, net-like structure that can be penetrated by roots. The middle layer 2, which consists of a fiber fleece made of predominantly decomposable fibers with a surface mass of at least 400 g/m 2 , is arranged on this carrier layer 1. Functional elements, for example seed 4, as well as water storage elements 5 and, if necessary, fertilizer 6, are stored within the middle layer 2, whereby these functional elements 4, 5 and 6 are scattered directly during the production of the fiber fleece forming the middle layer 2. The cover layer 3 on the middle layer 2 is formed by a thin fleece made of a grass-green fiber mixture with a surface mass of, for example, 15-40 g/m 2 . In the example, the carrier layer 1, the middle layer 2 and the cover layer 3 are connected to one another by fiber tuft seams, which also consist to a large extent of degradable fiber materials. The quilted seam-like connection of all three layers creates a wave-like surface oriented transversely to the direction of production, in which water-storing and water-retaining 'action lines 7' are present in the wave valleys at a distance of, for example, 20 to 50 mm.
