Schacht-Versickerungs-SystemfHSV) zur Versickerung von RegenwasserShaft infiltration system (HSV) for the infiltration of rainwater
For years, it was legally required that all areas be connected to the sewer system in order to quickly drain away unnecessary amounts of rainwater.
More and more areas have been sealed to make way for parking lots and roads. This has meant that the sewer system has had to be constantly expanded. The result is a sharp increase in flooding, causing great economic damage.
As of 01.01.99, it is mandatory in new development areas to allow rainwater to seep into the ground on one's own property.
The problem until now has been to allow the overflow from the cistern, which is usually located at a lower level and is normally connected to the public sewer system, to seep away.
The infiltration technology options available on the market are very limited, difficult to use and insufficient in terms of cleaning and maintenance.
Only a filtering like in cleaning level 1 is offered, i.e. impurities such as sand, pollen and other fine particles smaller than 0.6 mm are no longer retained. This dirt is washed into the pipe trench without the possibility of cleaning and clogs it in the long term. The technology available on the market does not include a sludge trap that can be removed from above for cleaning or a connection to the sewer system in the event of any backflow to prevent water damage.
We have made significant improvements to the performance of the infiltration technology available to date, particularly the cleaning technology. The infiltration tank (pipe trench) is treated with care and the natural soil is protected from excessive dirt by several cleaning stages (see page 2).
When using pipe-drill infiltration, cleaning is essential to prevent dirt (leaves, fine particles, etc.) from entering the infiltration pipe and clogging it in the long term.
The HSV can be used for surface, trough and pipe infiltration, as well as for completing rainwater use in combination with the deeper overflow of the cistern.
It consists of a plastic shaft with a unit consisting of an integrated filter and a sand trap underneath, which can be removed from above for cleaning. An additional built-in round siphon prevents the flow of whirled-up fine particles (sand, pollen) into the adjacent drainage pipes, where they settle in the sludge trap underneath after rain.
After several cleaning stages, the water is collected through drainage pipes (pipe trenches), temporarily stored and slowly released into the ground. To prevent backflow due to possible contamination or overloading of the drainage pipes, an overflow can be connected to the sewer if necessary.
A preferred embodiment of a drainage shaft according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
Es zeigen:Show it:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a shaft infiltration system (HSV) with integrated filter cleaning system.
Fig. 2 View of the combined, demountable installation part consisting of filter, sludge trap and plastic pipe for cleaning removal from above.
.The core piece, the filter shaft (1), is made of plastic with a diameter of 30 cm.
In the upper area is the inlet/inlet (5) from the overflow of the cistern or other rainwater. Slightly lower down opposite is the overflow (6) to the sewer system, which can be connected as required in the event of backflow due to heavy contamination of the filter, neglect of maintenance intervals or saturation of the natural soil after days of rain, in order to avoid damage caused by backflow.
1. Reinigungsstufe:1. Cleaning stage:
The water with impurities from the roof and/or yard areas passes through the deeper filter (0.6 mm) (2), which holds back the coarse dirt so that the drainage pipe and the surrounding chippings (9) do not become clogged over time. The filter (2) is conical with a height of 25 cm, upper diameter 25 cm, lower diameter 20 cm. The base and a 5 cm edge (10) are closed so that the sand/mud underneath in the sludge trap (4) is not stirred up by incoming water or the dirt collects. The conical design ensures that the filtered water drains off sideways in a calm manner. The filter is laid on top of a plastic pipe (3) (25 cm diameter, 33 cm high) with a round seal (7) attached, which seals off the outside of the filter shaft.
2. Reinigungsstufe:2nd cleaning stage:
Underneath the filter, on the floor of the HSV, is the sludge trap (4) with a height of 15 cm. It collects dirt particles such as sand, pollen and fine particles that cannot be retained by the filter, i.e. are finer than 0.6 mm.
3. Reinigungsstufe:3rd cleaning stage:
Diese setzen sich im darunterliegenden Schlammfang ab.A siphon is formed by the plastic pipe with an internal filter, which extends approximately 6 cm into the sludge trap. The floating and dissolved impurities are not passed on to the drainage pipes (9) due to the siphon-like design. They settle in the sludge trap below.
This also creates an odor trap because the water stands approx. 15 cm in the sludge trap and thus prevents unpleasant odors from rising up from the pipe trench.
The big advantage is that the plastic pipe with filter and sludge trap are connected to each other (Fig.1) and can also be removed from above at greater depths for cleaning.
The opposite outlet nozzles (11) with a diameter of 20 cm are attached to the bottom of the filter shaft at a height of approx. 5 cm. The slotted drainage pipes (Fränkische Rohrwerke) can be plugged in and are surrounded by coarse limestone grit, which temporarily stores the water and slowly releases it into the ground.
