Dieses trifft besonders auf die nachfolgend beschriebene technische Möglichkeit der Erzeugung einer Leuchtschrift, eines Leuchtbildes oder Leuchtpiktogrammes zu, welche ähnlich sehr aufwendig installierter Neonröhrenanordnungen erstrahlen, blinken oder leuchten, jedoch wesentlich preiswerter und in großer Serie herstellbar sind.
Durch das Einlegen der Leuchtinstallation hinter das Titelcover oder als solches in die Vorderseite von z.B. Musik-CD-Verpackung eingelegte bedruckte Titelcover (7) wird an gewünschter, vorteilhafter Stelle (Figur 1: 8, 9, 10, 14) durchbrochen oder transparent, auch lasierend eingefärbt gehalten, so daß die dahinter liegende Leuchtquelle (3) punktförmig oder mittels Einsatzes eines z.B. scheibenförmigen Lichtleiters {11 Figur 3) flächig hell und oder vorzugsweise blinkend abstrahlt. Die Figur 3 zeigt die angeschnittene Seitenansicht einer CD-Verpackung ( 12 ) mit eingelegter und herausnehmbarer Leuchtinstallation als Leuchtbutton, wobei gemäß Figur 1 und Figur 2 eine Betriebseinheit ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ) hinter einem Lichtleiter ( 11 ) angebracht ist und die Leuchtquelle ( 3 ) in diesen hineinragt. Nach den Gesetzen der Totalrelexion wird das eingeleitete Licht ganzflächig und gleichmäßig in dem Lichtleiter (11) gestreut und verstärkt durch einen Reflektor ( 13 ) nach vorne gerichtet. Auf dem Lichtleiter ( 11 ) ist eine lichtdichte Bedruckung ( 14 ) bzw. eine Aufklebfolie oder eine tiefgezogene Kunststoffkappe ( 15 ) aufgebracht, wobei ein gewünschtes Schriftbild oder Symbol ( 10 ) transparent ausgespart ist.
