Mounting system for sanitary installation

The invention relates to an assembly system for sanitary installations, for the simplified, dimensionally accurate production of the connection connections between the water supply and drainage pipes installed on site on the one hand and the devices, fittings and/or operating elements to be connected to them on the other hand, according to the preamble of claim 1.

DE 197 15 651 Al describes a mounting block for surface or flush mounting for connecting the existing cold water, hot water and drain pipes with the corresponding pipes of a wash basin to be installed. The wash basin cannot be held in place with the known mounting block.

The invention is intended to create an assembly system for sanitary installations which, in terms of structure and function, goes beyond an assembly block of the type described and which makes it possible not only to connect a washbasin to the fresh water and waste water sides, but also to attach the washbasin to the wall. The assembly system should also be so flexible and versatile that it also enables the washbasin to be installed separately (if an assembly box is available) or to be connected separately (if the washbasin is already screwed on). According to a sub-task, the assembly unit for the connection connection should be designed in such a way that it can either be provided with the heat-insulating, sound-insulating plastic cladding at the factory, thus forming an assembly box, or can only be covered with plastic on site after the connection has been made, so that a decision must only be made on site as to whether the fresh water pipes are to be connected from above or below. According to a further subtask, the assembly unit should be designed in such a way that it can be used in a basic design only for the connection of hot and cold water pipes, and can also be made suitable for the connection of waste water pipes with a simple, easily mounted additional module.

According to the invention, the object is achieved in a mounting system according to the preamble of claim 1 by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1, namely in that the mounting system consists of the following components, which can be mounted on a wall individually or in combination with one another:

a) an assembly unit with a central support element for connecting the hot and

Cold water pipe and the drain pipe of a washbasin, whereby at least the wall or ceiling angles or fitting angles for the hot and cold water pipes are already attached to the support element in a ready-to-connect state and whereby the assembly unit can be attached to a shell wall in a suitable height, side and depth position by means of fastening angles on both sides,

b) a support frame for the washbasin with a profile rail, preferably a C-profile rail, for the positionally adjustable guidance and support of the washbasin fastening bolts, with a pair of fastening brackets which are attached parallel and spaced apart from each other to the support frame and for its support in or in front of the

Wall in a suitable height, side and depth position, and with a pair of coupling rails which are attached to the profile rail parallel and spaced from each other and, extending downwards, are intended for coupling the mounting unit in a height-adjustable position.

Advantageous further developments are specified in claims 2 to 16. The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are primarily that, due to the two fastening angles of the mounting unit, it can be mounted either in front of the wall or in the wall (which is made possible by turning the fastening angles around the axis of their fastening screw), that the mounting unit can be fastened at an adjustable height (due to the elongated holes for the fastening screws in the fastening angles) and that the length of the legs of the fastening angles can be adapted to the mounting position of the mounting unit (due to the predetermined breaking notches in the legs). The mounting unit can be mounted on the support frame for the washbasin - height-adjusted by means of a slotted hole fastening. The fastening angles on the mounting unit and the support frame are preferably of the same type and are always in an angled position to the supporting surface of the wall and the components they hold by means of edge bevels or slotted hole guides.

In its simplest form, the central support element of the mounting unit is a U-shaped retaining plate, to whose two U-legs the mounting brackets and to whose base bar the fitting angles can be screwed. If the mounting unit is to be combined with the support frame for a washbasin, then the support element of the mounting unit is preferably designed as a reinforcing mounting plate attached to its underside with a protruding fastening tab for height-adjusted mounting on the

Profile rails. The assembly unit can be designed as an assembly block that is already provided with heat-insulating, sound-insulating plastic at the factory, whereby the connection openings of the fitting angle pieces and, if necessary, a siphon connection bend as well as the fastening openings are left free or accessible. The versatility of the assembly system is increased if the assembly unit is available on site in an unclad ("naked") version, so that the position of the fitting angle pieces can still be changed and/or a bracket with a clamping sleeve for a siphon connection bend can still be attached. When such an assembly unit is connected, a prefabricated plastic hood can now be put over the assembled assembly unit to provide heat-insulating and sound-insulating cladding on site. The fitting angle pieces and, if necessary, a siphon connection bend with their connection openings protrude through this hood and surround the assembly unit, leaving filling gaps free, so that the cavity between the assembly unit and the plastic hood can be filled with plastic foam through the filling gaps and the latter can be glued to the assembly unit.

Further features and advantages of the subject matter of the invention as well as its structure and mode of operation are explained below using several embodiments shown in the drawing. The drawing shows in perspective:

The MS mounting system shown in Fig. 1 and 2 is used in sanitary installations, for

• - - - · facilitated dimensioned production of the connections between the water supply and drainage pipes Zl, Z2, AL installed on the building site on the one hand and the devices, fittings and/or operating elements to be connected to them via corresponding water supply and drainage pipes zl, z2, al indicated by dashed lines on the other hand. In Fig. 1, the device is in particular a washbasin (not shown). The cold and hot water pipes Zl, Z2 provided on the building site are indicated by dash-dot lines, only a siphon bend of the drainage pipe AL is shown. In Fig. 1 to 3, the wall and the wall screw connection are not shown; however, it is understood that the MS mounting system can be attached to a vertical wall in the position shown in Fig. 1.

The MS assembly system consists of the two components ME that can be combined with one another: an assembly unit for connecting the cold and hot water pipes zl, z2 and the drain pipe al of a washbasin (not shown) and a support frame TG for the washbasin. In Fig. 1, the two components ME, TG can be seen screwed together at an angle from the front, in Fig. 2 at an angle from the back, and in Fig. 3 they are shown separately from one another. ~

The assembly unit ME has a central support element 1 made of preferably stainless steel, which is shown separately in Fig. 1 and to which at least the wall or ceiling angles or fitting angles Fl, F2 for the hot and cold water pipes Zl, zl and Z2, z2 are already attached in the ready-to-connect state, i.e. screwed on with flanges that are not visible. In the washbasin assembly unit shown, the support element 1 and the fitting angles Fl, F2 attached to it, together with the siphon connection bend SB, are combined at the factory with heat-insulating, sound-insulating plastic to form an assembly block MB, i.e. e.g. foamed or molded or cast. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1 to 3, the following will therefore refer to the assembly block MB

as a special case of the assembly unit ME. As can be seen, the support element 1 forms a mounting plate attached/integrated to the underside of the mounting block MB with a protruding fastening tab la for height-adjusted mounting on the profile rails 2, 3 (which will be explained in more detail), with the two "ears" or screw-on tabs Ib aligned with each other and a reinforcing sheet metal tab Ic protruding downwards for the plastic molded body part MB 2 of the mounting block MB that accommodates the siphon connection bend SB. The mounting block MB also includes the two fastening angles 4, 5, which are screwed to a side flank of the upper plastic molded body part MB l of the mounting block MB in a height-adjustable manner using elongated holes 6 (which is only visible on angle 4) and with which the mounting block MB can be attached to a shell wall in a suitable height, side and depth position.

As already mentioned, the MS mounting system for washbasin fastening also includes the support frame TG for the washbasin, with a profile rail 7, preferably a C-profile rail, for variable-position guidance and support of the washbasin fastening bolts 8. A pair of fastening brackets 9, 10 are attached to the support frame TG in parallel and at a distance from one another and are provided for holding it in or in front of the wall at a suitable height, side and depth position. A pair of coupling rails 2 are attached to the profile rail 7 in parallel and at a distance from one another and, extending downwards, are provided for coupling the mounting block MB in a height-adjustable position.

The coupling rails 2, 3 are preferably welded to the profile rail 7 to form the support frame TG, and a fastening bracket 9, 10 can in turn be screwed to a coupling rail 2, 3 at an adjustable height. The coupling rails 2, 3 are designed as angle rails, and their flat-edged angle legs 2a, 3a are provided with elongated holes 11 for coupling the mounting block MB. The mounting block MB with the protruding fastening tab la of its support element 1 is saddled in a height-adjustable manner, i.e. screwed on using the fastening screws 14, on the flat-edged angle legs 2a, 3a.

The mounting brackets 4.5; 9, 10 are very versatile fastening elements.

Those of the mounting block MB and/or those of the support frame TG, preferably both, are provided with predetermined breaking notches 12 for changing the length of their two legs Sl, S2. For height adjustment, the fastening angles 4, 5; 9, 10 of the mounting block MB and/or the support frame TG, as already mentioned, are provided with elongated holes 6 and their fastening screws 13 penetrate these and are fastened at an adjusted height.

As can be seen, the fastening angles 4,5 of the mounting block MB and/or (9, 10) of the support frame TG are mounted so as to be rotatable by 180° about the axis of their fastening holes 6, so that their wall fastening tabs Sl point to the rear for front-of-the-wall fastening - as shown in Fig. 1 to 3 - or to the front of the mounting block MB for in-the-wall fastening (cf. Fig. 7 and 9 - to be explained later).

To guide and hold the fastening angles 4, 5 of the mounting block MB and/or (9, 10) of the support frame TG in an angular position, the fastening angles themselves or the central support element 1 or the coupling rails 2, 3 can be provided with lateral folds Id, as indicated by dashed lines using the support element 1 in Fig. 1. To guide and hold the fastening angles 4, 5 of the mounting block MB and/or (9, 10) of the support frame TG in an angular position, the fastening angles can instead be guided with the flanks of their elongated hole 6, apart from their fastening screw 13, on a cam 15 of the central support element 1 protruding from the mounting block MB (also indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 1 for the support element 1 shown separately).

Fig. 3 demonstrates that the MB and TG components can also be used separately. Fig. 4 shows the separate fastening of an MB assembly block according to Fig. 3, below, to a shell wall W in front of the wall fastening and with the connected on-site lines Zl, Z2 and AL, i.e. fully assembled for connection to the washbasin lines (not shown). Fig. 5 shows the MB-TG combination according to Fig. 1, similar to Fig. 4, fastened to the shell wall W and with the connected on-site lines Zl, Z2 and AL, also in front of the wall fastening.

Fig. 6 shows a simplified version of an assembly block MB' without a siphon connection bend, but with the two fitting angle pieces Fl, F2 and the on-site fresh water pipes Zl, Z2 for cold and hot connected to them, in front-of-the-wall fastening, e.g. as a support for a shower fitting. The (not visible) support element inside (MB') is accordingly simplified as a U-shaped retaining plate. Fig. 7 shows a modified fastening compared to Fig. 6, namely an in-the-wall fastening (fastening angles 4, 5 turned over). In addition, a retaining bracket 16 is attached to the support element on the back of the assembly block MB', which holds a siphon connection bend SB on a clamping sleeve 17 at its free, downward-pointing end for connecting the drain line AL.

Fig. 8 shows, using the example of a simple assembly unit ME' (which is not yet covered with plastic), that the central support element is also a U-shaped retaining plate 18

is, to whose two U-legs 19 (only one visible) the fastening angles 4, 5 and to whose base web the fitting angle pieces Fl, F2 are screwed. In the middle area of the holding plate 18 the holding bracket 16, which runs transversely to the holding plate and in the assembled position downwards - preferably adjustable in height by means of an elongated hole screw connection 20 - is fastened or can be fastened, which again has the clamping sleeve 17 for a siphon connection bend at its free end. The embodiment according to Fig. 9 corresponds to that according to Fig. 8, with the difference that here the fastening angles 4, 5 are turned over for the purpose of in-wall fastening. The examples according to Figs. 7 to 9 have the advantage, among other things, that the holding bracket 16 can be temporarily unscrewed if you want to use crimping pliers to crimp the lines Zl, Z2 onto the protruding fitting nozzles.

In the two examples according to Fig. 8 and 9, a prefabricated plastic hood is conveniently placed over the assembled assembly unit ME' for the on-site heat-insulating and sound-insulating cladding, through which the fitting angle pieces Fl, F2 and, if applicable, the siphon connection bend SB protrude outwards with their connection openings and which surrounds the assembly unit ME', leaving filling gaps free, so that the cavity resulting between the assembly unit ME' and the plastic hood placed over it can be filled with plastic through the filling gaps and the latter can be glued to the assembly unit ME'. The plastic hood is not shown; However, it has an external shape which corresponds approximately to that of the assembly block MB according to Fig. 1 to 5 or according to Fig. 6 and 7 (in a simplified version), whereby the plastic cover in particular also has a snap-on lid on the bottom (also not shown) which seals the shape on the bottom.

Returning to the examples in Fig. 1 to 7, it can be seen that the assembly units are each designed as an assembly block MB, MB' already provided with heat-insulating, sound-insulating plastic at the factory, whereby the connection openings of the fitting angle pieces Fl, F2 and, if applicable, a siphon connection bend SB as well as the lateral fastening openings for the fastening angles 4, 5 are left free or accessible. Fig. 1 to 5 show a design in which the assembly block MB is recessed in an approximately V-shaped manner on both of its side flanks in the area between the fitting angle pieces Fl, F2 and a siphon bend SB, so that the threaded connection sockets of the fitting angle pieces are accessible via connection surfaces 21 pointing diagonally outwards and downwards for the on-site connection of the fresh water pipes Zl, Z2.

In Fig. 3 it is also shown for the C-profile rail 7 that the washbasin fastening

bolts 8 with preferably rhombus-shaped fitting pieces 22 at their ends can be inserted into a guide groove 23 of the profile rail 7 and are slidably mounted therein and, in a locking position, engage behind the groove limiting flanges of the guide groove 23 and can be locked in the desired position by tightening the respective fastening bolt 8.

Fig. 10 once again clearly shows the mounting system with connection block and support frame (combined and separate) for a washbasin in the first 3 fields and a fitting connection block, e.g. for a shower, in the last field.

The assembly block MB, MB' is made of EPS (extruded polystyrene). Polyurethane foams (PU or PUR foams) can also be used to advantage because they are relatively light (bulk density e.g. between 0.2 and 0.7 g/cm ³ ) and because they have very good thermal and sound insulation properties. In principle, other foams can also be used (see "Encyclopedia of Science and Technology", Vol. 4, P - Sto, published in 1981 by Verlag Moderne Industrie Wolggang Dummer & Co, Landsberg am Lech, pp. 2451 -2455).

In addition to the advantages of the assembly system according to the invention, the following should be noted: The MB assembly block is suitable for every construction variant (on the wall or flush-mounted). The distances between the wall and the wall are infinitely adjustable, e.g. from 75 - 175 mm. The assembly block can be mounted with or without a support frame. A screwable transition to all pipe systems (copper, VPE, PEX, etc.) is guaranteed. All washbasin connections can be quickly and completely assembled with just two screws. This results in a high level of assembly time savings. The combined installation with the MB assembly block and TG support frame enables the tradesman to securely install the washbasin fastening bolts during the rough installation and before the brickwork is laid. This eliminates all risks and all assembly problems (e.g. wall plugs not holding, damage to the tiles, etc.) when setting the washbasin bolts right from the start during the final assembly.

Claims (16)

1. Assembly system for sanitary installations, for the simplified, dimensionally accurate manufacture of the connection connections between the water supply and drainage pipes installed on site on the one hand and the devices, fittings and/or operating elements to be connected to them on the other hand, characterized in that it consists of the following components, which can be mounted on a wall (W) individually or in combination with one another: a) an assembly unit (ME, MB) with a central support element ( 1 ) for connecting the hot and cold water pipes (z1, z2) and the drain pipe (a1) of a washstand, wherein at least the wall or ceiling angles or fitting angles (F1, F2) for the hot and cold water pipes are already attached to the support element ( 1 ) in the ready-to-connect state and wherein the assembly unit (ME, MB) can be attached to a shell wall (W) in a suitable height, side and depth position by means of fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) on both sides, b) a support frame (TG) for the washbasin with a profile rail ( 7 ), preferably a C-profile rail, for the positionally variable guidance and holding of the washbasin fastening bolts ( 8 ), with a pair of fastening angles ( 9 , 10 ) which are fastened parallel and spaced from one another to the support frame (TG) and are provided for its holding in or in front of the wall in a suitable height, side and depth position, and with a pair of coupling rails ( 2 , 3 ) which are fastened parallel and spaced from one another to the profile rail ( 7 ) and, extending downwards, are provided for coupling the assembly unit (ME, MB) in a height-adjustable position. 2. Mounting system according to claim 1, characterized in that the siphon connection bend (SB) for the waste water pipe (AL) is already fastened to the support element ( 1 ) in the ready-to-connect state. 3. Mounting system according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the coupling rails ( 2 , 3 ) are welded to the profile rail ( 7 ) to form the support frame (TG) and that a fastening angle ( 9 , 10 ) can in turn be screwed to a respective coupling rail ( 2 , 3 ) at an adjusted height. 4. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the coupling rails ( 2 , 3 ) are designed as angle rails and their flat-edged angle legs ( 2a , 3a ) are provided with elongated holes ( 11 ) for coupling the mounting unit (ME, MB). 5. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the support element ( 1 ) of the mounting unit (ME, MB) is designed as a reinforcing mounting plate fastened to its underside with a protruding fastening tab ( 1a ) for height-adjusted mounting on the profile rails ( 2 , 3 ). 6. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) of the mounting unit (ME, MB) and/or ( 9 , 10 ) of the support frame (TG) are provided with predetermined breaking notches ( 12 ) for changing the length of their two legs (S1, S2). 7. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that for height adjustment the fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) of the mounting unit and/or ( 9 , 10 ) of the support frame (TG) are penetrated by their fastening screws ( 13 ) in elongated holes ( 6 ). 8. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) of the mounting unit (ME, MB) and/or ( 9 , 10 ) of the support frame (TG) are mounted so as to be rotatable by 180° about the axis of their fastening holes ( 6 ), so that their wall fastening tabs (S1) point towards the rear for front wall fastening or towards the front of the mounting unit (ME, MB) for in-wall fastening. 9. Assembly system according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that for guiding and holding the fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) of the assembly unit (ME, MB) and/or ( 9 , 10 ) of the support frame (TG) in an angular position, the fastening angles themselves or the central support element ( 1 ) or the coupling rails ( 2 , 3 ) are provided with lateral folds ( 1d ). 10. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that for guiding and holding the fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) of the mounting unit (ME, MB) and/or ( 9 , 10 ) of the support frame (TG) in an angular position, the fastening angles are guided with the flanks of their elongated hole ( 6 ) except for their fastening screw ( 13 ) on a cam ( 15 ) of the central support element ( 1 ). 11. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the central support element of the mounting unit (ME') is a U-shaped holding plate ( 18 ), to whose two U-legs the fastening angles ( 4 , 5 ) and to whose base web the fitting angle pieces (F1, F2) can be screwed. 12. Mounting system according to claim 10, characterized in that in the middle area of the holding plate ( 18 ) a holding bracket ( 16 ) running transversely to the holding plate and in the mounted position downwards - preferably adjustable in height by means of a slotted screw connection ( 20 ) - can be fastened, which has a clamping sleeve ( 17 ) for a siphon connection bend (SB) at its free end. 13. Mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the mounting unit (MIR) is designed as a mounting block (MB, MB') already provided with heat-insulating, sound-insulating plastic at the factory, the connection openings of the fitting angle pieces (F1, F2) and, if applicable, of a siphon connection bend (SB) as well as the fastening openings being left free or accessible. 14. Mounting system according to claim 13, characterized in that the mounting block (MB) is recessed in an approximately V-shaped manner on both of its side flanks in the area between the fitting angle pieces (F1, F2) and a siphon bend (SB), so that the threaded connection pieces of the fitting angle pieces (F1, F2) are accessible via connection surfaces ( 21 ) pointing obliquely outwards and downwards for the on-site connection of lines (Z1, Z2). 15. Assembly system according to one of claims 11 or 12, characterized in that for the on-site heat-insulating and sound-insulating cladding of the assembled assembly unit (ME, ME'), a prefabricated plastic hood can be slipped over the latter, through which the fitting angle pieces (F1, F2) and, if necessary, a siphon connection bend (SB) with their connection openings protrude outwards and which surrounds the assembly unit (ME, ME') while leaving filling gaps, and that the cavity resulting between the assembly unit and the slipped-over plastic hood can be foamed with plastic through the filling gaps and the latter can be glued to the assembly unit (ME, ME'). 16. Mounting system according to claim 1, with a C-profile rail, characterized in that the washbasin fastening bolts ( 8 ) with preferably rhombus-shaped fitting pieces ( 22 ) at their ends can be inserted into a guide groove ( 23 ) of the profile rail ( 7 ) and are slidably mounted therein and in a locking position engage behind the groove limiting flanges of the guide groove ( 23 ) and can be locked in the desired position by tightening the respective fastening bolt ( 8 ).
