Device for loading a mobile feed mixer

The invention relates to the device for loading a mobile feed mixer according to the preamble of claim 1.

Movable feed mixers with horizontal and vertical mixing augers are well known. In addition to feed mixers that can be loaded via separate devices, feed mixers with attached loading devices such as cutting blades, milling rollers and loading shovels carried by swivel arms, as well as loading shovels that can be moved up and down in guide rails, are also known.

The use of cutting blades and milling rollers is satisfactorily solved in feed mixers with horizontal mixing elements.

In feed mixers with vertical mixing and tearing rollers, the feed introduction via cutting plates is still subject to shortcomings due to complex design measures on the mixing container and a poor filling level. Feed introduction via milling rollers is also very expensive due to the high effort involved. Both of the methods mentioned are unsuitable for the introduction of entire, compact feed bales.

Versions with loading shovels rigidly arranged on swing arms are able to load even compact feed bales, and when filled via the upper edge of the mixing chamber, they result in a high construction of the feed mixers equipped with vertical mixing augers, but a large overall length

of the vehicle, which impairs its maneuverability in sometimes narrow feeding areas.

A device known from Gbm 298 13 634 for loading feed mixers has a loading shovel that can be moved along guide rails and is raised using a cable pull to achieve a short design. However, the method of operation is prone to malfunctions, as uncontrolled movements can occur when lowering.

In order to remedy the above-mentioned deficiencies, the invention provides a loading device in the form of a loading shovel that can be moved in guide rails, which enables relatively simple and safe loading even with relatively high feed mixers and a short design.

The invention is described below by way of example and illustrated in the drawings:

The feed mixer 2), which is attached to the trailer coupling 1) of an agricultural tractor (not shown in detail) via a towing eye 3), essentially consists of the chassis 6), which is carried by an axle 4) and the wheels 5), with the mixing container 10) placed on it, which is equipped with at least one mixing auger 12), which can be set in rotation via a gear 13), and which also tears up and mixes feed bales.

For unloading the feed, a hatch 9) is arranged in the mixing container 10), through which the feed is transferred to a conveyor belt 26) for deposit in the feed aisle via a slide 8) which is opened or closed by means of a hydraulic cylinder 11).

At the rear of the feed mixer 2) there are fixed vertical guide rails 15) which, above the mixing container 10), pass over the arches 14) into downwardly inclined end pieces 16).

The loading shovel 20), consisting of the side walls 18) carrying the rollers 19), the rear wall 25) carrying a sealing strip 17), the base plate 24) and the receiving bearings 23) attached to the side walls 18), with their rollers 19), is movably arranged in the U-shaped guideways of the guide rails 15).

A lifting device 30), consisting essentially of a double-armed swing arm 31), the pressure cylinders 37) and the push rods 35) engaging the receiving bearings 23) of the loading shovel 20), drives the loading shovel 20).

The loading shovel 20) is loaded with feed in the form of bales or bulk material in a lowered position close to the ground or is pushed under feed bales or bulk material for automatic loading by reversing the feed mixer wagon 2).

After loading, the swing arm 31) mounted on the mixing container 10) on the swivel bearings 39) and consisting essentially of the lateral swing arms 32) and their cross beam 33) with the bearings 34) located thereon for receiving the push rods 35) is moved upwards via the double-acting pressure cylinders 37) acting on its swing arms 32) in bearings 36), which are supported in bearings 38).

The loading shovel 20) attached to the push rods *35) *with the support bearings 23) is raised accordingly and guided in the guide rails 15).

In the area above the mixing container 10), the guide rails 15) guide the carriage 20) via their bends 14) into the end pieces 16) which are inclined downwards to achieve a better discharge angle. The feed then slides out of the pivoted carriage 20) into the mixing container 10) for the mixing process.

The loading shovel 20) is then brought to ground level or into a transport position approximately in the middle area of the guide rails 15) by applying pressure to the pressure medium cylinder 37) for further filling. A wall 40) is arranged between the guide rails 15) to prevent feed losses. The gap 41) between the wall 40) and the rear wall 25) of the loading shovel 20) is bridged by a flexible sealing strip 17).

In order to achieve precise mixtures of the various types of feed, feed mixer wagons can be equipped with weighing devices. The respective weight supplied is determined via load cells or rod-shaped sensors 42), which can then be read off a display device at the same time. To avoid weighing errors, it is necessary that the elements required for feed mixing and loading, such as the mixing container 10), lifting device 30), loading shovel 20), etc., are arranged in the weighing area, separated from the chassis 6) by the sensors 42).

In order to improve the adaptation of the receiving edge 43) of the base plate 24) to the ground when picking up the feed, the guide rails 15) are provided with end pieces 45) in the area of the lower end position of the loading shovel 20) which, inclined at an angle a), receive the guide elements or the rollers 19) of the loading shovel 20) in such a way that when lifting the receiving edge 43) detaches itself from the ground more quickly due to the change in direction in the guide rails 15).

Claims (6)

1. Device for loading a mobile feed mixer, which is arranged on the rear of the same and preferably picks up different types of feed from flat silos, as bulk material or in the form of compact, cylindrical or cuboid bales by means of a loading shovel which can be moved in guide rails near the ground and introduces it from above into a mixing chamber with at least one mixing screw, characterized in that by means of the rocker ( 31 ) actuated by means of pressure medium cylinders ( 37 ) and the push rod ( 35 ) arranged between the rocker ( 31 ) and the loading shovel ( 20 ), the loading shovel ( 20 ) is guided in the guide rails ( 15 ) and is moved so as to be movable up and down. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the loading shovel ( 20 ) is guided via rollers ( 19 ) in the guide rails ( 15 ). 3. Device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the guide rails ( 15 ) have end pieces ( 45 ) in the lower region which, inclined by the angle (a), have a length which corresponds at most approximately to the distance between the guide elements or the rollers ( 19 ). 4. Device according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the guide rails ( 15 ) above the mixing container ( 10 ) have downwardly inclined end pieces ( 16 ). 5. Device according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that at the top of the rear wall ( 25 ) of the loading shovel ( 20 ) a flexible sealing strip ( 17 ) bridges the gap ( 41 ) to the wall ( 40 ) between the guide rails ( 15 ). 6. Device according to claims 1-5, characterized in that in feed wagons with weighing devices all elements required for loading are arranged in the area to be weighed.
