Im Außenbereich wird durch das engmaschige geflochtene Gitter ein Ertrinken von Kleinkindern verhindert. Die Tragfähigkeit des Gitters wird dadurch wesentlich erhöht, daß der verwendete Rundedelstahl leicht nach oben gewölbt ist und damit ein Durchbiegen verhindert wird. Außerdem wird dadurch die Elastizität des Schutzgitters deutlich erhöht.The invention means that ponds do not have to be secured with a fence. Bei eindringendem Wasser und Gefrieren im Winter treten hierdurch Frostschäden auf.
