Problems: The invention specified under claim 1 is based on the problems set out below:

1. Every fingernail or toenail is different in its shape, size, length and nail structure. It is therefore extremely difficult to develop a few universally applicable painting templates.

2. The optimal adjustment and sticking of the painting template is complicated and time-consuming. In addition, a template adjusted by eye would never guarantee a precise and uniform appearance on all nails.

3. Another problem occurs when using older nail polishes. Nail polishes contain thinner, which escapes from the nail polish when used frequently. If you work with older nail polishes that are thicker in consistency and use the painting template at the same time, an unsightly thick painting outline will appear when you remove the foil template after painting the nails. 08/24
