Die einzige Figur zeigt eine mobile Atemgasversorgungseinheit 1, die aus einer mit Atemgas gefüllten Druckgasflasche 2, einem Mehrwegventil 3 mit einer ersten, selbstschließenden Schnelltrennkupplung 4, einem Atemdruckregler 5 mit einer nachgeschalteten zweiten selbstschließenden Schnelltrennkupplung 6 und einer Atemmaske 7 besteht. Die Druckgasflasche 2 zusammen mit dem Mehrwegventil 3 und der ersten Schnelltrennkupplung 4 sind in einer Halterung 8 aufgenommen, welche an einem in der Figur nicht dargestellten Fallschirmspringer befestigt ist. Das Mehrwegventil 3 enthält einen druckgesteuerten Umschalter 9, in Form eines 3/2 -Wege-Ventils, welches in der in der Figur gezeigten Schaustellung, als einer ersten Betriebsart, die Druckgasflasche 2 mit dem Atemdruckregler 5 verbindet. Sofern während einer zweiten Betriebsart an die erste Schnelltrennkupplung 4 eine bordseitige Atemgasquelle 10, z.B. ein 6-bar Mitteldruck Bordnetz, angeschlossen wird, wird der Umschalter 9 durch den von der Atemgasquelle 10 gelieferten Druck derart betätigt, daß der Atemdruckregler 5 das Atemgas ausschließlich aus der Atemgasquelle 10 erhält. Die Atemgasquelle 10 kann neben dem bordseitigen Sauerstoffnetz auch eine mit Sauerstoff gefüllte, mit einem Druckminderer versehene Druckgasflasche sein. Zusätzlich kann während einer dritten Betriebsart eine Niederdruck-Atemgasquelle 11 an die zweite Schnelltrennkupplung 6 angeschlossen werden, wobei in dieser Betriebsart die Atemgasversorgung ausschließlich aus der Niederdruck-Atemgasquelle bezogen wird. Die Atemgasquelle 10 als auch die Druckgasflasche 2 sind mittels eines abströmseitig des Atemdruckreglers 5 befindlichen Rückschlagventils 12 abgeschaltet.
