Multifunctional presentation station

The invention relates to a multifunctional presentation station with a food, luxury goods or water self-service dispensing device, a presentation device for presenting the production of entertainment electronics, IT or printed products, as well as a common housing for the dispensing device and the presentation device.

Preferably, the station further comprises an electrotechnical or electronic reproduction device for reproducing images and/or sound, and the reproduction device is also accommodated in the common housing.

In a particularly preferred development of the invention, the dispensing device is a beverage dispensing device, in particular a water dispenser, as is known per se, the presentation device is in particular a sound carrier presentation device, preferably in the form of one or more shelves on which the sound carriers, such as in particular CDs, are lined up, and the playback device in this case preferably comprises several CD players including preferably several headphones.

The station according to the invention can be set up at a suitable location, in particular in sales premises, and achieves a high marketing impact, since the prospective buyer is lured to the station by the preferably free offer of a drink, thereby also becoming aware of the products presented there and thereby being put in a purchasing mood that is conducive to the sale of the product, in particular if he can simultaneously listen to the product and in particular the CDs presented via the headphones preferably provided at the station.

Alternatively, the multifunctional presentation station is designed for the presentation of image carriers or for the presentation of image and sound carriers such as CD-ROMs (for example computer games) and the station can in this case have one or more screens and an audiovisual or multimedia playback device including a computer.

Since the multifunctional presentation station according to the invention has a single, preferably tower-like housing in or on which the individual devices are formed, the station according to the invention requires only little space and is therefore easy to integrate into the existing environment.

In an expedient development of the invention, the shelves for the products to be presented are arranged in the head section of the tower and the headphones are attached to the outside of the housing below the shelves. It is particularly advantageous if the shelves are formed on two opposite sides of the tower, which is essentially rectangular in horizontal cross-section, with each of these sides being assigned a pair of headphones so that two people can view or listen to the CDs on offer at the same time, on different sides of the station.

Further advantageous features of the invention emerge from the remaining subclaims and from the following description, in which several embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. In the drawing, in a semi-schematic or schematic representation:

The station according to Fig. 1 and 2 comprises a tower-like housing 10 with a rectangular cross-section and a lower, widened base section 12 and an upper, also widened roof section 14. Below the roof section 14, on two opposite sides 36, 38 of the housing 10, three shelves 16 are arranged one above the other, onto which CDs 18 can be placed. The CDs are located approximately at head height, the total height of the station in the case of the embodiment is 190 cm.

The station also includes a water dispenser of a known design arranged within the housing 10, with a water container 22 being placed on a base 20 arranged within the housing 10. On the rear side of the housing 10 facing away from the front side 24 of the housing 10, a door (not shown) is formed through which the empty water container 22 can be removed and replaced with a full water container.

On the front 24, the housing 10 has a window 26 in the area of the water tank 22 through which the fill level of the water tank 22 can be seen. Another window 28 is formed below the window 26 and fresh water can be drawn off via taps 30 that are arranged on the base 20 of the water dispenser in the area of the window 28. The reference number 31 designates cup supplies, whereby the topmost cups can be removed through the window 28.

In the area of the roof section 14, a CD player 32 is arranged inside the housing 10, via which, for example, three different CDs can be listened to. For this purpose, operating elements 34 are arranged on the front 24 of the housing 10 at the height of the respective CD rows, via which the user can initiate the playing of the selected CD. As shown in Fig. 1, each side of the station is assigned its own row of operating elements, so that two people can use the listening device independently of one another. Furthermore, there are

Software 44 is presented in the form of CDs on the shelves 16 of the embodiment according to Fig. 3, and the station comprises a computer 46 arranged in the roof section 14, as well as a monitor 48 arranged on the front of the housing 10 at its head section, and operating elements 50 arranged below the monitor for controlling the computer 46. The reference number 52 designates permanently installed loudspeakers. In the case of this embodiment, holders 52 for drinking cups 31 are attached to both side walls 36, 38 of the housing 10.

Multifunctional presentation station with a food, beverage or water self-service dispensing device (20, 22, 30), a presentation device (16) for presenting products (18, 44) of entertainment electronics, EDP or printed products, and a common housing (10) for the dispensing device (20, 22, 30) and the presentation device (16). 2. Station according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises an electrotechnical or electronic reproduction device (32, 34, 42; 46, 48, 50, 52) for reproducing images and/or sound and that the common housing (10) also accommodates the reproduction device. 3. Station according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the dispensing device (20, 22, 30) is a beverage dispensing device. 4. Station according to claim 3, characterized in that the beverage dispensing device is a water dispenser (20, 22, 30). 5. Station according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the presentation device is a sound carrier presentation device (16). 6. Station according to claim 2 and 5, characterized in that the playback device is a sound playback device (32, 34, 42). 7.
