Es ist bekannt, am Boden oder an einer Wand verlegte Keramikplatten an ihren freiliegenden Außenkanten zu schützen durch Abschlußprofile. Dabei wird in der Regel zwischen einem solchen Abschlußprofil und der benachbarten Plattenkante eine Fuge von wenigen mm Breite gebildet, die mit Mörtel verfüllt wird.It is known that ceramic tiles laid on the floor or on a wall can be protected on their exposed outer edges using end profiles. Der längere Schenkel ist dabei mit Durchbrechungen versehen und wird bei sogenannter Dünnbettverlegung in einem Kleber zwischen dem Untergrund, entweder einem Boden oder einer Wand, und darauf verlegter Keramikplatten untergebracht. Schwierig erweist sich dabei die Einhaltung der gewünschten und gleichbleibenden Fuge zwischen dem Abschlußprofil und der zu schützenden Keramikplatten. Zudem ist der entstandene Fugenraum nur schwierig zu verfüllen, wenn die Fuge eine relativ schmale Sichtbreite aufweist, der Fugenraum aber eine Tiefe der gesamten Fliesendicke aufweist. Erschwert wird das Verfüllen des Fugenraumes zusätzlich, wenn dieser im unteren Bereich verbreitert ausgebildet ist. Wird der Fugenraum vor Verlegen der Fliesen mit Kleber ausgefüllt, so besteht die Gefahr, daß der Kleber an der Fugenoberfläche sichtbar wird und die Optik der Fuge stört.For the formation of such panel edge protection, corresponding profiles are known from DE-PS 31 21 823. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, am Untergrund anzuklebende Profile zum Abschluß von zu verlegenden Keramikplatten oder dergleichen vorzuschlagen, mit denen in einfacher Weise ein vorbestimmter Fugenraum zwischen Keramikplatte und Profil eingehalten werden kann.The object of the invention is to propose profiles that can be glued to the substrate to finish off ceramic tiles or the like that are to be laid, with which a predetermined joint space can be maintained in a simple manner between the ceramic tile and the profile.
Gelöst wird diese Erfindungsaufgabe mit einem Profil mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Anformung abstandshaltender Mittel am Profil wird dem Verleger der Platten bereits in sicherer Weise der gewünschte und gegebenenfalls vorgeschriebene Fugenabstand, also die Fugenbreite, vorgegeben. Die freie Höhe solcher Profile ist in bekannter Weise auf die Höhe der Keramikplatten abgestimmt, so daß ein oberseitig bündiger Abschluß erfolgt.This inventive task is solved with a profile with the features of claim 1. An beiden Längsseiten 13 dieses Profiles ist im unteren Bereich jeweils ein Abstandssteg 14 angeformt. Sein Abstand zur Profilaußenseite 15 bildet die Fugentiefe. Unter einem stumpfen Winkel ist an dem Befestigungsschenke! 31 ein Verbindungsschenkel 33 angeformt, an dem außen wiederum ein etwa eine T-Form mit dem Verbindungsschenkel 33 bildender Außenschenkel 35 angebunden ist. An der Unterseite dieses Außenschenkels 35 sind entsprechend ausgebildete und in ihrer Länge ausgewählte Abstandsstege 36 angeformt, die den Abstand der äußeren Kanten der Keramikplatten 5 zu den Endabschnitten 34 der gewölbten Außenschenkel 35 und damit die Fugenbreite B bestimmen. Solche Abstandsstege können in prinzipiell gleicher Weise auch am Verbindungsschenkel 33 ausgebildet sein.
