Description
Beschreibung:Description:
Die Erfindung betrifft eine hochtemperaturfeste Konfektionseinlage
aus einem bindemittelfreien Faserverbund.
5The invention relates to a high-temperature-resistant ready-made insert made of a binder-free fiber composite.
5
The ready-made insert is a so-called fire blocker made of a non-flammable material and is intended to be used in particular in seat covers for vehicles, public transport, public spaces and offices. It is intended to protect flammable materials, e.g. upholstery materials, and must be able to withstand burning cigarettes, for example. It must have as low a thermal conductivity as possible, be highly elastic and be light. Finally, the material must be easy to process and withstand the mechanical stresses that occur during the manufacturing process, such as punching and sewing.
Ready-made inserts known from practice, which are used as so-called fire blockers in seat covers, consist of a mechanically strengthened fiber fleece. The material is relatively stiff and cannot be processed into seat covers, or only with difficulty, especially in thick material. In addition, there is a high surface weight, which is particularly problematic for use in seat covers for vehicle seats.
In practice, the material is therefore only used in thicknesses of up to 3 mm. The thermal insulation of the relatively thin material is in need of improvement.
A 41 2 5 351 a textile insulation material is known which consists of two fibre layers, each of which has a mesh layer

The mesh layers are arranged on the outside and enclose the pile layers between them. Processing of carbon fibers is possible, whereby the carbon fibers form a first fiber layer and are connected to a second fiber layer made of synthetic fibers. The development of high-temperature-resistant ready-made inserts that are used as fire blockers in seat covers has not been influenced by this.
The invention is based on the object of specifying a high-temperature-resistant ready-made insert suitable as a fire blocker, in particular for seat covers, which can be processed well and is voluminous.
The subject of the invention and the solution to this problem is a high-temperature-resistant ready-made insert made of a binder-free fibre composite which contains carbon fibres and non-flammable, shear-resistant reinforcing fibres as main components 0 and has a mass per unit area of maximum 1500 g/m 2 ,
wobei der Faserverbund aus zwei Faserlagen besteht, die jeweils eine Maschenschicht und eine Schicht aus hochstehenden Polschlingen aufweisen, wherein the fibre composite consists of two fibre layers, each of which has a mesh layer and a layer of raised pile loops,

wobei die Kohlenstofffasern und die Verstärkungsfasern als homogene Fasermischung in die Maschenschichten eingebunden sind.where the carbon fibers and the reinforcing fibers are integrated into the mesh layers as a homogeneous fiber mixture.
All fibers are captured and bound into the mesh, whereby they are formed into raised pile loops. The pile loops of the two fiber layers support each other and the mesh layers on both sides and form an elastic cushion. The processed carbon fibers are characterized by high temperature resistance and high tensile strength, but are brittle and have only a low strength in the transverse direction. In a homogeneous mixture with reinforcing fibers that can absorb shear forces, however, they can be formed into meshes and pile loops surprisingly easily and enable a fiber composite in the fiber mixture that can absorb forces in all spatial directions and can be easily processed as a ready-made insert. The fiber composite is voluminous due to the cushion formed by the pile loops and is characterized by a high thermal insulation capacity. The ready-made insert according to the invention contains no melting components, is elastic and easy to shape due to the cushion formed by the pile loops. It retains its shape after being formed and, due to these properties, is particularly suitable as a ready-made insert for seat covers.
Der Faserverbund hat eine besonders hohe Festigkeit, wenn nach bevorzugter Ausführungsform der Erfindung die Maschenschicht der ersten Faserlage auf den Polschlingen der zweiten Faserlage aufliegen und die Polschlingen der ersten FaserlageThe fiber composite has a particularly high strength if, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mesh layer of the first fiber layer rests on the pile loops of the second fiber layer and the pile loops of the first fiber layer
Diese verbessern die Textileigenschaften und insbesondere Geschmeidigkeit des Faserverbundes.are worked into the mesh layer of the second fiber layer. Aramid fibers are particularly suitable as reinforcing fibers for the fiber mixture with carbon fibers. Preferably, the proportion of carbon fibers and reinforcing fibers in the fiber mixture is at least 30% by weight. The fiber mixture can also contain up to 20% by weight of flame-retardant viscose fibers. These improve the textile properties and in particular the suppleness of the fiber composite.
In a further embodiment, the invention teaches that the fiber composite contains a wire insert incorporated into the cushion formed by the pile loops. The wire insert is recommended as protection against vandalism in ready-made inserts for seat covers in public transport, publicly accessible spaces and the like.
In the following, the invention is explained in detail using a drawing that merely represents an exemplary embodiment. The only figure shows a schematic representation of a longitudinal section through a ready-made insert according to the invention.
The ready-made insert shown in the figure consists of a binder-free fiber composite that contains carbon fibers and non-flammable, shear-resistant reinforcing fibers as its main components and has a mass per unit area of maximum 1500 g/m 2. The ready-made insert is high temperature resistant and can be used as a so-called fire blocker in 0 seat covers.
From the figure it can be seen that the fiber bundle consists of two fiber layers 1, 1', each of which has a mesh layer 2, 2' and a layer of raised pile loops 3, 3'. The mesh layers 2 are arranged on the outside. The pile loops 3, 3' form an intermediate cushion 4 which has a thickness of 10 to 20 mm. The connection between the two fiber layers is made by the mesh layer 2 of the first fiber layer 1 resting on the pile loops 3' of the other fiber layer 1' and the pile loops 3 of the first fiber layer 1 being worked onto the mesh layer 2' of the second fiber layer 1'.
The carbon fibers and the reinforcing fibers are incorporated into the mesh layers 2, 2' as a homogeneous fiber mixture. The fiber mixture contains aramid fibers as reinforcing fibers, with the proportion of carbon fibers and aramid fibers in the fiber mixture being at least 30% by weight. In addition to carbon fibers and reinforcing fibers, the fiber mixture can contain up to 20% by weight of flame-retardant viscose fibers to improve the textile properties of the fiber composite.
In the exemplary embodiment, the fiber composite contains a wire insert 5 incorporated into the cushion 4 formed by the pile loops 3, 3' as protection against deliberate damage.
