Diese genügen jedoch nicht den Kriterien heutiger Schlafforschung, die zunehmend auf die störende Einwirkung von Metallteilen im Bereich des Schläfers hinweist. Die im Schutzanspruch angegebene Erfindung ermöglicht mittels zweier schräg eingebohrten Holzzapfen eine metallfreie und somit elektromagnetisch störungsfreie Eckverbindung. Die Holzzapfen ermöglichen auch wieder eine Trennung der Betteiie ohne weitere Werkzeuge.
