Description
BeschreibungDescription
The invention is a device that is particularly suitable as a water (liquid) and also as a gas treatment system, can be used in liquid and gas systems to prevent or minimize corrosion and/or limescale problems in drinking and service water systems, among other things. The water (liquid) and gas treatment system consists of a hollow body (1) and a core (2) that is incorporated into the hollow body (1). The hollow body (1) and core (2) consist of at least two different electrically conductive materials and are electrically insulated from each other (3). The hollow body (1) and core (2) can be equipped without an electrical resistor, or can be connected to at least one electrical resistor (4). If the liquid or gas is electrically conductive, a voltage (volts) and current (amperes) are inevitably created in the medium flowing through the hollow body. To increase the performance of the device (hollow body + contents), it can also be equipped with a housing (5) made of any material, in which there is an electronic system (6) that is connected to the hollow body by electrical lines. The electronic system is able to be controlled by means of flow rate sensor(s) (7), which detect(s) different flow rates in the hollow body and, depending on the different flow rates, can apply additional equal or variable electrical voltages (volts) and/or electrical current (amperes) with constant or different frequencies to/into the hollow body (1) and thus into the respective medium flowing through the hollow body. The housing (5) with the built-in electronics can be built in such a way that it partially or completely encloses the hollow body (1), or the housing (5a) can be manufactured separately from the hollow body (1) so that it can be mounted (8) and &ohgr; by means of necessary electrical cables (9) with the hollow
