Im Patent 291672 ist ein Verfahren zur Trennung von Komponenten aus Gemischen, die Suspensions- oder Emulsionskolloide, echte Kolloide, Ionen oder gelöste Körper enthalten, beschrieben, welches darauf hinausläuft, daß man unter Verwendung von Diaphragmen geeigneter Ladefähigkeit die Gemische der Wirkung des elektrischen Stromes aussetzt.
