Eine derartige Leiterplatte wird häufig in Kraftfahrzeugleuchten, z. B. in Bremsleuchten, Rück- und Blinkleuchten oder in im Bereich der Heckscheibe oder im Bereich des Kofferraumdeckels angeordneten Zusatzbremsleuchten, eingesetzt. Die Strombegrenzungswiderstände legen den zulässigen Strom durch die Lumineszenzdioden fest, wobei mehrere Lumineszenzdioden schaltungstechnisch hintereinander- oder parallelgeschaltet sind. Die Strombegrenzungswiderstände sind gewöhnlich in Form bedrahteter Bauelemente oder in Form von SMD (Surface-Mounted-Device)-Widerständen ausgeführt. Dadurch ist die Anzahl der zu bestückenden Bauelemente hoch und die Lei-0 terplatte muß entsprechend groß dimensioniert werden, was insbesondere störend ist bei einem Einsatz dieser Leiterplatte in einer im Bereich der Heckscheibe oder im Bereich des Kofferraumdeckels angeordneten Zusatzbremsleuchte, da die geometrischen Ausmaße dieser Zusatzbremsleuchte die Sicht eines Autofahrers beeinträchtigen.Such a circuit board is often used in vehicle lights, e.g. in brake lights, tail lights and indicator lights or in additional brake lights arranged in the area of the rear window or in the area of the trunk lid. Anschlüsse für eine Stromversorgung oder Leiterbahnen, sind für die Erfindung unwesentlich und werden daher nicht näher beschrieben. Die Strombegrenzungswiderstände sind jeweils aus einer Widerstandspaste realisiert, mit einem Schutzlack abgedeckt und auf einer Fläche 3 auf der Leiterbahnseite der Leiterplatte Iz. B. im Siebdruckverfahren aufgedruckt, wodurch ein platzsparender Aufbau der Leiterplatte 1 ermöglicht wird und die Breite der Leiterplatte lediglich von der Breite der Lumineszenzdioden 2 abhängt. In einem praktischen Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung beträgt die Breite der Leiterplatte lediglich 1/40 der Leiterplattenlänge. Dabei sind vier in Reihe geschaltete Parallelschaltungen vorgesehen, die jeweils sechs Lumineszenzdioden umfassen. Durch diesen platzsparenden Aufbau ist die Leiterplatte für einen Einsatz in Kraftfahrzeugleuchten geeignet, z. B. in Bremsleuchten oder in Rück- und Blinkleuchten, wobei entsprechende Reflektoren über den Lumineszenzdioden 2 angeordnet sind. Vorzugsweise in einer im Bereich der Heckscheibe oder im Bereich des Kofferraumdeckels angeordneten Zusatzbremsleuchte ist eine derartige Leiterplatte verwendbar, weil durch die geringen geometrischen Ausmaße der Leiterplatte und somit der Zusatzbremsleuchte die Sicht eines Autofahrers wenig beeinträchtigt wird.In Figure 1, 1 designates a strip-shaped circuit board, which is equipped with LEDs 2 and current limiting resistors.
