Schaft für ein Hüftprothesensystem, insbesondere Revisionshüftprothesensystem, umfassend einen in den Oberschenkelknochen einschlagbaren Verankerungsabschnitt, einen den Verankerungsabschnitt verlängernden Verbindungsabschnitt und einen abgewinkelten Gelenkkugelabschnitt zum Aufsetzen der Gelenkkugel, wobei der Verbindungsabschnitt durch wenigstens ein über Konusabschnitte verbindbares Hülsen-Element gebildet ist, und wobei das Hülsen-Element eine durchgehende Längsbohrung aufweist, in welche von dem Gelenkkugelabschnitt her eine bis in den Verankerungsabschnitt reichende Sicherungsschraube einsetzbar ist, die in einen Innengewindeabschnitt des Verankerungsabschnitts eingreift dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verankerungsabschnitt (2) eine Längsbohrung (10) aufweist, die sich über den Innengewindeabschnitt (11) hinaus bis zum distalen Ende (13) des Verankerungsabschnitts (2) diesen vollständig durchsetzend erstreckt.1.
