Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Leiters für elektrische Maschinen, der im Hauptpatent 282195 beschrieben war, sowie eine besondere Ausführung dieses Leiters selbst. Der Leiter des Hauptpatents besteht aus übereinanderliegenden verschränkten Flachleitern, welche im verschränkten und unverschränkten Teil in zwei Lagen nebeneinanderliegen. Die Leiter werden dabei aus geraden Stäben derart hergestellt, daß sie zunächst an zwei Stellen derart hochkant um einen Winkel gebogen werden, daß die beiden zur Längsachse des Leiters parallelen Enden durch ein schräges Stück verbunden sind. Die Erfindung besteht nun in einem Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Flachleiter in solcher Weise, daß diese von vornherein unmittelbar die zur Verschränkung durch Biegen um 180 ° um eine Längsachse des Leiters geeignete Form erhalten. Dies geschieht, indem die Leiter so durch Gießen, Stanzen, Schneiden usw. hergestellt werden, daß die zu verschränkenden, gegeneinander versetzten Teile der Flachleiter durch ein schräges Stück an der Verschränkungsstelle verbunden sind.
