Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen aus wasserfestem Papier hergestellten Kreuzbodenbeutel für Feuchtigkeit absondernde Waren, z. B. Der Beutel A ist aus einem wasserfesten Pergamentpapier ο. dgl. hergestellt wobei die senkrechte Seitennaht B mittels eines wasserfesten Klebstoffes sicher verklebt ist. Der Boden C des Beutels ist in üblicher Weise gebildet, wobei seine Naht D ebenfalls eine sichere Verklebung zeigt.The bag A is made of waterproof parchment paper ο. Like. Während nun die seitliche Naht B sicher verklebt werden kann, ist die Bodennaht D infolge Herstellungsschwierigkeiten durch die weiteren Biegungen der Ecken zum Zwecke der Bodenbildung schwer zu dichten, zumal sich die aus den Waren absondernden Feuchtigkeitsmassen stets auf dem Boden des Beutels ansammeln. Um nun auch die Bodennaht wasserdicht zu gestalten, wird dieselbe in einem doppelten Falz verklebt. Um dies erreichen zu können, werden die unteren Kanten des Beutels bei E ausgeklinkt (Fig. 1), so daß nach der Bildung des Bodens an den Stoßkanten der Bodennaht zwei gegeneinander liegende Lappen F entstehen (Fig. 2). Diese Lappen F werden, nachdem sie mit einem wasserfesten Klebstoff bestrichen sind, entsprechend mehrfach umgebogen, so daß ein doppelter Falz entsteht (Fig. 3).
