Zusatz zum Patent 267815.Addendum to patent 267815.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 19. Oktober 1913 ab. Längste Dauer: 23. Juni 1926.Patented in the German Empire on October 19, 1913. Longest duration: June 23, 1926.
A method for preparing primary cleavage products is disclosed by patent 267815 Protected saponins, which consists in the fact that the solutions of the saponins in diluted Do not allow mineral acids to stand for long periods of time at temperatures above blood heat. While following the procedure of this patent for the production of the primary cleavage products for a longer time, e.g. B. 10 to 15 days, needed, it has now been found that the same products can be converted into a few hours can be obtained if one diluted instead of the diluted mineral acids Hydrogen peroxide solutions used. The present proceedings also have the further advantage that the reaction liquids are uncolored; it can get out of it without further purification the cleavage products are obtained.
Beispiel. Example. 100 parts of Sapindus saponin are about 15 times the amount 3 percent more Hydrogen peroxide solution poured over it and on the water bath for several hours at about 70 ° heated. The separated cleavage product is placed on a filter and with Washed out water. It is a white amorphous powder that is 29.3 percent Contains pentoses. That obtained by splitting with dilute sulfuric acid at blood temperature Initial sapogenin contains the same amount of pentoses.
