Bleibt noch als vorteilhaft zu erwähnen, daß aufgrund der Vorkerbung vergleichsweise niedrige Drücke genügen, um das Bersten des betreffenden Behältnisses an den vorgekerbten Stellen herbeizuführen. Dies wirkt sich in zweierlei Hinsicht positiv aus. Einmal ist der Bedarf an vorzugsweise flexiblem oder flüssigem Sprengstoff für die Ladung zur Berstdruckerzeugung dementsprechend gering.
