Durch das Patent 229433 ist eine Vorrichtung geschützt, welche bezweckt, die Umkehr der Bewegungsrichtung des Farbbandes an Schreibmaschinen durch den zwischen den Kupplungsrädern in der Zahnradverbindung des Antriebes der Farbbandspulen vorhandenen Zahndruck in Verbindung mit der nach Abwickelung des Farbbandes von einer Spule durch die zunehmende Farbbandspannung erfolgenden Auslösung eines Sperrgliedes zu bewerkstelligen.
