Der Tisch besteht im wesentlichen aus einer nach vorn etwas abgeschrägten Platte a, welche unten mit Kulissenführungen b versehen ist, in denen von beiden Schmalseiten aus je ein Brett oder Führungsstück c und c¹ ausziehbar angebracht ist. An diesen ausziehbaren Brettern sind mit Scharnieren d die Fußpaare e und e^x nach innen zu umlegbar befestigt. An der oberen Vorderkante der Tischplatte α ist mit Scharnieren f eine schräg einstellbare Platte g angebracht, die an ihrer Vorderseite eine nach oben vorspringende Leiste h besitzt. An der Unterseite der festen Tischplatte α bzw. an der Vorderkante der unter ihr befestigten Kulissenführungen b ist mit Scharnieren i eine Schreibplatte k unterklappbar angebracht.
