Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Spiritusinvertglühlichtlampe mit durch einen Saugdocht gespeistem liegenden Verdampfer. Der Verdampfer besteht aus zwei Teilen: einem Hauptvergaser außerhalb der Lampenesse und einem Neben- oder Vorvergaser, der in die Esse hineinragt. Der Hauptvergaser trägt den ganzen Brenner nebst Esse und Lampenglas und ist mittels einer Kapsel mit senkrechtem Gewinde am Lampenbehälter befestigt, in welchen der den Verdampfer füllende Docht herabreicht.
