Das Patent No. 20908 bezweckt, Luft an verschiedenen Stellen der Sohlkanäle von Koksöfen einzuführen. Es ist indessen von Wichtigkeit, nicht allein die Luft an den verschiedensten Stellen des Sohlkanals zur Verbrennung der Gase einführen zu können, sondern auch die Gase selbst an die verschiedenen Stellen hinleiten und deren Zutritt von aufsen reguliren zu können. Zu dieser Hinleitnng kann die Construction unseres Patentes No. 20908 benutzt werden, wie aus beiliegender Zeichnung ersichtlich. Das Gas wird durch die Rohrleitung G Ji vor den Oefen hergeführt, mündet bei den einzelnen Koksöfen in die Kanälchen GCGC1 GC* und tritt aus diesen durch die Oeffnungen m in den Sohlkanal. Die Luft wird durch die Rohrleitung L R vor den Oefen hergeführt, mündet bei den einzelnen Koksöfen in die Kanälchen L C und tritt aus diesen durch die Oeffnungen η in den Sohlkanal. Im Gaskanal treten also Gas und Luft zusammen und verbrennen dort.The patent no. 20908 aims to introduce air at various points in the bottom channels of coke ovens.
