Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Fräsvorrichtung zum Fräsen von Gelenken an den Schienen künstlicher Glieder, bei denen das kreisförmig abgerundete Ende des einen Gelenkteils den gleichen Krümmungsradius wie die zugehörige Aussparung des anderen Gelenkteils besitzt. Als Werkzeug für die neue Vorrichtung dient ein Schaftfräser, welcher einen der Weite des Schlitzes zwischen den beiden Augen der einen Schiene entsprechenden Durchmesser hat. Die Fräserspindel, welche beliebig angetrieben werden kann, ist in geeigneter Weise, gegebenenfalls mit Hilfe eines Kugellagers gelagert. Die Spindel oder der Fräser wird zweckmäßig so angebracht, daß er verstellt werden kann. Der Werkstückhalter ist schwingend angeordnet und kurbelartig gestaltet. In der Achsenmitte desselben befindet sich vorn ein Zapfen z, welcher dazu dient, in das Bolzenloch des unteren Gelenkauges des Arbeitsstückes einzutreten und dieses zu halten, daß es aber gleichzeitig auch an dem drehbaren Halter die richtige Stellung einnimmt.
