Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Verarbeitbarkeit und Ergiebigkeit
von Pigmentfarben
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Verarbeitbarkeit und Ergiebigkeit von Pigmentfarben.
Eine bekannte Schwierigkeit bei der Handhabung von Figmentfarben
bei der Konfektionierung von Kunststoffgranulaten und -pulvern zu Folien und Formkörper η aller Art besteht, darin,
dass die bereitgestellten Pigsr.entfarben zur Agglomerätbildung
neigen, so dass häufig ihre nochmalige Aufmahlung kurz vor
der endgültigen Zuinischung zn den Kunststoffen notwendig wird.
Es ist v/eiterhin bekannt, dass die Kunststoffe, die mit trockenen
Pigmentfarben versetzt werden, nicht immer gleichmässig
ausgefärbte Folien und Formkörper ergeben. Die Ausfärbung ist häufig stippig und der Färbungseffekt im Hinblick auf die aufgewendete
Menge an Pigmentfarbe oft unbefriedigend.
Die Erfindung beseitigt die vorstehend aufgeführten Mangel.
Sie erleichtert die Verarbeitbarkeit anorganischer und organischer
Pigmentfarben durch Verhinderung von Agglomeratbildungen und verbessert den Einfärbungseffekt und somit ihre
Ergiebigkeit bei der Einfärbung der Kunststoffe.
Es wurde nämlich gefunden, dass diese Verbesserungen bei der Konfektionierung von Kunststoffen dadurch erreicht werden,

dass die Farbstoffpigmente mit feinkörnigen bis pulverförmiger!
Tensiden vermischt werden, wobei bereits Zugaben von 5-30 Gew.% ausreichend sind.
Als Tenside kommen z.B. die folgenden Verbindungen in fester Form in Betracht:
Sorbitan-Monostearat, Sorbitan-Monopalmitat, Sorbitan-Tristearat,
Polyoxyäthylen-Sorbitan-Monostearat, Polyoxyäthylen-Sorbitan-Tristearat,
Polyoxyäthylen-Sorbit-Lanolinderivat, Polyoxyäthylen-Fettsäureester und/oder Polyoxyätbylen-Fettalkoholäther,
wie zum Beispiel Polyoxyäthylen-Stearat, Polyoxy äthylen-Palmi tat, Polyoxyäthylen-Laurylather, Polyoxyäthylen-Stearylather,
Polyoxyäthylen-Cetyläther, Polyoxyäthy
len-Triglycerid, Polyoxyäthylen-Oxypropylen-Monostearat,
Glycerin-Mono und Distearat, Polyoxyäthylen-Oleylather und
hochmolekulare Fettamine.
Bercerkensv/ert ist, dass das erf indungsgemässe Verfahren über
die eingangs erwähnten vorteilhaften Wirkungen -hinaus gleichzeitig die Verarbeitbarkeit, insbesondere die Fließeigenschaften
der eingefärbten Kunststoffe verbessert und auch die Staubbildung bei der Konfektionierung dieser Kunststoffe
in Form von Granulaten und Pulvern erheblich herabsetzt.
Zum Beispiel besitzen Pigmentfarben des erfindungsgemässen
Verfahrens die folgende Zusammensetzung:
50 Gew.% 2
20 " Manganblau
25 " Sorbitan-Tristearat
5 " Polyäthylen-Fettsäureester oder
50 Gew.% Ti02
20 " Cadmiumgelb
10 " Hochmolekulare Fettamine
15 " Polyoxyäthylen-Fettsäureester

- Patentanspruch :Veirfahren zur Verbesserung der Verarbeitbarkeit und Ergiebigkeit von Pigmentfarben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Pigmentfarben mit etv;a 5-30 Gew.% an festen Tensiden innig vermischt v/erden.409845/1024
