Durch die Erfindung sollen bekannte Bauarten von Zündholzbehältern, bei denen die . Der in Fig. 1 bis 3 dargestellte, besonders für den Taschengebrauch bestimmte Behälter besteht aus dem Körper 1 mit den Flächen i^a und i^b ; in der ersteren ist eine Öffnung 2 zum Einfüllen der Zündhölzer. Die eine Schmalseite 3 ist nutenförmig äusgerundet und mit einer Kratzfläche versehen. Die Vorderseite und die beiden Flächen τ^α und 1*. sind so weit ausgeschnitten, daß eine Finger-Öffnung 6 gebildet wird, um die Ergreifung eines Zündholzes zu ermöglichen. Der Schlitz 7, durch welchen das Zündholz herausgenommen wird, ist bei y^a etwas erweitert, um den Durchgang der Zündholzköpfe zu erleichtern. An der Vorderkante 5 des Behälters ist unten, rechtwinklig nach innen, je ein starrer Vorsprung 8 zu beiden Seiten der Fingeröffnung 6 angeordnet. Diese Vorsprünge erreichen nicht die ganze Höhe der Vorderwand, sondern lassen Raum zur Herausnahme eines einzigen Zündholzes frei. Die obere Fläche ΐ6^Λ hat den Zweck, als Stütze für ein Gehäuse 17 zur Aufnahme der verbrannten Zündhölzer zu dienen, und ist in der Mitte ausgeschnitten und als Teil 19 aufwärts gebogen. Mittels eines Nagels 19^, der durch den aufwärts gebogenen Teil 19 und durch eine geschlitzte Öffnung in der Rückwand des Behälters ragt, wird das ganze Gehäuse an der Wand festgehalten. Der Behälter 17 ist aus dem oberen Teil 18 des Gehäuses 12 herausnehmbar, um die angebrannten Zündhölzer entleeren zu können. Patent Claims:

1.
