Die ganze Vorrichtung bildet ein kastenartiges Gehäuse A, in dem oben die mit den Gläserträgern α versehene Scheibe b vorgesehen ist. Die Gläserträger α haben einen allseitig nach der Mitte zu abfallenden und an der tiefsten Stelle durchbohrten Boden, der in Röhrchen a^x über einer unterhalb der Scheibe b vorgesehenen Auffangplatte «² mündet, um das überlaufende Bier abzuführen.
