Die Erfindung betrifft eine einfache Vorrichtung zur Befestigung jedes Endes eines Farbbandes auf der zugehörigen Spule für Schreib- und Druckmaschinen, bei welchen jedes mit einem Beschlag versehene Farbbandende in einen Längsschlitz des zugehörigen Spulenkernes eingreift. Das Wesentliche der Erfindung besteht darin, daß der Beschlag jedes Farbbandendes plattenförmig ausgebildet und derart angeordnet ist, daß er nach seinem Einführen in den Schlitz des Spulenkernes sich quer zu diesem legt. Die neue Vorrichtung gestattet die Befestigung des Farbbandes auf seinen Spulen, ohne daß man sich bei der Befestigung die Hände beschmutzt. In der Zeichnung ist A die Wandung des rohrförmigen Kernes einer Bandspule, die aus Blech bestehen kann. An den Enden des Kernes sind in beliebiger Weise Scheiben B befestigt, z. B. durch Einwärtsbiegen von Lappen b, die aus den Scheiben ausgeschnitten sind, in das Innere des Spulenkernes hineinragen und mit ihm verlötet sind. In dem Spulenkern ist ein schmaler Längsschlitz vorgesehen, durch den das Band und dessen Beschlag eingeführt werden kann. C ist das Band und .D der an diesem befestigte Beschlag. Letzterer besteht vorteilhaft aus Metall und nimmt die ganze Breite des Bandes ein. Der Beschlag ist aus einem Blechstreifen durch Umbiegen der Enden nach dem mittleren Teil zu und durch Wölben desselben hergestellt.
