Die vorliegende Erfindung .bezieht sich auf zusammenlegbare, gegen die Vorderwand klappbare Sitze, insbesondere für Motorfahrzeuge, und bezweckt, die Handhabung der Sitze beim Aufstellen und Umlegen wesentlich zu erleichtern und zu vereinfachen, so daß das Aufstellen der Sitze für den Gebrauch und das Umlegen schneller als bei bekannten Anordnungen ausgeführt werden kann. Es wird dies gemäß der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß der Rahmen des Sitzes mit den Vorderbeinen und die Rückenlehne mit den Hinterbeinen fest, letztere dagegen mit dem Sitzrahmen gelenkig verbunden sind. Die Vorder- beine sind dabei ebenso wie bei bekannten Sitzanordnungen im Wagenboden um ein Gelenk drehbar. Dadurch kann der Sitz in einfachster Weise, durch Anheben der Lehne umgelegt und durch die umgekehrte Bewegung wieder aufgestellt werden.
