Claims

1. Automatic coffee machine ( 1 ) with a quantity selection device ( 9 ) for preselecting a quantity of beverage to be dispensed, a strength selection device ( 12 ) for preselecting an extract strength and a display device ( 15 ) for displaying both the preselected quantity of beverage and the preselected extract strength, wherein the selection devices ( 9 , 12 ) and the display device ( 15 ) are connected to one another via a control ( 5 ).

2. Coffee machine according to claim 1, characterized in that an additional information field ( 11 , 14 ) is assigned to the quantity selection device ( 9 ) and/or the strength selection device ( 12 ).

3. Coffee machine according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the strength selection device ( 12 ) is continuously movable over an actuating range (B).

Coffee machine according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the display device ( 15 ) is designed to display the extract strength in a plurality of display levels, wherein each display level is assigned a specific mean value position of the strength selection device ( 12 ) via the control ( 5 ), which mean value position is characteristic of this level and can be reached at a predetermined location in the actuation area (B).

5. Coffee machine according to claim 4, characterized in that each mean value position is assigned a variation range.

9. Coffee machine according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the quantity selection device ( 9 ) is movable in steps, preferably in twelve steps.

10. Coffee machine according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the quantity selection device ( 9 ) contains a rotary knob ( 10 ).

11. Coffee machine according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the quantity and the strength can be displayed sequentially by the display device ( 15 ).

12. Coffee machine according to claim 11, characterized in that the preselected beverage quantity can preferably be displayed by the display device ( 15 ).

Coffee machine according to claim 12, characterized in that the display device ( 15 ) can be actuated by the control ( 5 ) such that the preselected extract strength can be displayed overlaying the quantity display for a predetermined period of time after actuation of the strength selection device ( 12 ), preferably 5 seconds.

14. Coffee machine according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the display device ( 15 ) is a text display.

15. Coffee machine according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the strength selection device ( 12 ) is connected via the control ( 5 ) to a dosing device for coffee beverage raw material, in particular a drive ( 4 ) of a coffee bean grinder ( 3 ).
