Die Erfindung betrifft eine Glühlampe, insbesondere eine Niedervoltleuchte.The invention relates to an incandescent lamp, in particular a low-voltage lamp.

Glühlampen nutzen die Eigenschaft, daß ein hocherhitzter Faden zum Glühen angeregt wird. Dies kann im Normalfall mit einem elektrischen Strom geschehen, der der Leuchte direkt zugeführt wird. Der Glühfadenstrom ist damit direkt von der Netzspannung abhängig, Spannungsspitzen können den Faden zerstören. Bei Niedervoltleuchten wird über eine Anpaßschaltung die Netzspannung auf die gewünschte niedrigere Spannung reduziert. Dadurch kann der Glühfaden stabiler gestaltet werden, sein Innenwiderstand ist geringer und die benötigte Leistung reduziert sich.Incandescent lamps use the property that a highly heated filament is stimulated to glow.
