Description pen holder

The wooden plate (7) serves as the base of the pen holder, the two hemispheres (6) are the feet.

The floral wires (6) are the legs of the pen holder.

The wooden ball (1) serves as the body and head of the pen holder.

The floral wires (4) represent the arms of the pen holder.

The two wooden balls (8) represent the hands of the pen holder.

The writing instrument (10) rests in the recess (9) and in the right angled floral wire (4) of the pen holder.

With the pen holder, I have created a new decorative device that allows you to store your writing instrument safely at your stationary workstation.

This means that you can store your writing instrument in a place where you can find it again without much effort.

I have put this idea into practice with this invention.

The pen holder has a footprint of 5 cm and a height of approx. 15 cm

The pen holder consists of the following parts:

- a wooden ball (1) of 40 mm diameter

- two wooden balls (8) each with a diameter of 10 mm

- two wooden balls (2) each with a diameter of 4 mm

- a wooden ball (3) of 6 mm diameter

- two hemispheres (6) with a diameter of 15 mm each

- two pieces of floral wire (4) each 6 cm long and 1.5 mm in diameter

- two pieces of floral wire (5) each 10 cm long and 1.5 mm in diameter

- a wooden plate with a diameter of 50 mm

- a head covering (11)

There were problems securing the floral wire (4 + 5) in the wooden balls (1 + 8) and the hemispheres (6).

This problem was solved with a smaller drill diameter.

The floral wire has a thickness of 1.5 mm, but the holes are only 1 mm.

This solution achieves a very strong connection between the two workpieces.

Claims (10)

1. Device for holding a writing instrument, characterized in that the writing instrument can be placed in a device made of several wooden balls connected by wire. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that two hemispheres ( 6 ) each with a diameter of 15 mm are glued onto a wooden plate ( 7 ) with a diameter of 50 mm. 3. Device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that in each of these hemispheres ( 6 ) a hole with a clear width of 1 mm is drilled into the wooden plate.
In each hole is inserted floral wire ( 5 ) of 10 cm length and 1.5 mm thickness. 4. Device according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that two holes with a clear width of 1 mm each are drilled into a wooden ball ( 1 ) with a diameter of 40 mm in the lower region.
The other ends of the floral wire ( 5 ) are inserted into these holes. 5. Device according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a hole with a clear width of 1 mm is drilled on the left and right side of the wooden ball ( 1 ).
In each of these holes a piece of floral wire ( 4 ) with a length of 6 cm and a thickness of 1.5 mm is inserted. 6. Device according to claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the right floral wire is bent in its elongated middle to approximately 145 degrees. 7. Device according to claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a pre-drilled wooden ball ( 8 ) with a diameter of 10 mm is attached to the lower end of the floral wires ( 4 ). 8. Device according to claims 1 to 7, characterized in that three holes with a clear width of 2 mm are drilled in the front area of the wooden ball ( 1 ).
A 6 mm wooden ball ( 3 ) is glued to the lower hole with the help of a toothpick.
A wooden ball ( 2 ) of 4 mm diameter is also attached to each of the two upper holes using toothpicks. 9. Device according to claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a recess ( 9 ) is drilled into the wooden plate ( 7 ) with the aid of a countersink. 10. Device according to claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a head covering ( 11 ) is glued to the pen holder.
