Abstract

Curtain holders with replaceable panel

Description The invention relates to a curtain holder.

Curtain holders are known in the form of rails that are guided in a frame, for example made of wood, whereby this frame is attached to the corner angle between the ceiling and the wall. The curtains or drapes are moved on rollers that are guided in the rails.

It is also known to hang curtains or drapes on rods that are attached to corresponding brackets at a distance from the wall. The curtains or drapes have loops or eyelets that are attached to the rod. Wires are also used in the same way as curtain brackets that are stretched parallel to the wall above a window.

What these curtain holders have in common is that there is no provision for a replaceable panel in front of the curtain holder. The rails are already in a

a wooden frame that does not allow for the replacement or attachment of a panel. The rails running in the wooden frame do not allow any design of the curtain holder and therefore no adaptation to changing room designs. In order to change the curtain holder, the entire holder must be replaced with another one.

Curtain rods and wires generally do not have a cover, so the rod or wire remains clearly visible above the curtain. It is therefore not possible to design the curtain holder in this form either. Instead, it is assumed that the appearance of the curtain holder itself is perceived as pleasant.

The starting point of this invention is the changing expectations of people regarding the design options for their own four walls. Today, it should be possible to change the design of the rooms more often and thus also be able to take up corresponding interior design trends. In addition to the design of the walls themselves, the curtain holders should also be able to be integrated into the room design.

The object of the invention is to create curtain holders that allow the curtain holder to be adapted to the rest of the room design. In addition, this design should be easily removable and allow easier access to the actual curtain holder.

This is achieved by a curtain holder in front of which a replaceable panel is detachably attached.

This invention makes it possible to hide the curtain holder behind the panel. The panel can have a variety of shapes, materials and surface designs. This means that the panel can be changed to respond to constantly changing preferences, for example of a child. For this application, the panel can have image motifs that can be offered in line with current trends.

It is particularly important that the panels are detachably attached, as this allows the panels to be replaced as desired. Removing the panels also allows easy access to the curtain holders, for example when taking down the curtains.

The panel can be attached to the curtain holder in a variety of ways. In one embodiment, the panel can be attached to the curtain holder itself using suitable fastening elements, such as fastening pins or fastening magnets, which are arranged on the back of the panel. Hook-shaped fastening elements are also possible, with which the panel is hung on the curtain holder. The number of fastening elements can vary, although at least two fastening elements are expediently provided.

The fastening elements can advantageously be attached directly to the curtain holder in corresponding receptacles. It is advisable to fix the fastening elements in the receptacles, for example

by means of suitable fastening bolts that pass through the fastening elements and the holders. However, a wide range of fastening devices can be used for this function, including snap-in devices, locking screws and clamping devices.

In another embodiment, the panel is not attached to the curtain holder itself, but to mounts that are attached to the wall above the curtain holder. This embodiment is particularly suitable for adding panels to curtain holders that are already installed. These panels can be attached in front of any curtain holder.

In another embodiment of the invention, fastening receptacles, for example elongated sleeves, are provided on the back of the panel, into which corresponding holding bodies, for example pins, engage. These pins can be attached either to the curtain holder or directly to the wall.

The panel itself is advantageously designed as a support for interchangeable decorative elements. On the one hand, it is possible to cover the panel, for example with wallpaper that is also attached to the walls of the room. This makes it possible to achieve a very discreet covering of the curtain holder. This wallpaper can then be removed and replaced if necessary, while the panel remains and in turn serves as a support for new wallpaper.

On the other hand, decorative elements can be easily and replaceably attached to the metallic surface using magnets. The panel 2 is provided on its rear side with two fastening elements 3 in the form of fastening pins 4. These fastening pins 4 are inserted approximately horizontally into correspondingly shaped receptacles 5 on the top of the curtain holder 1. The panel 2 is thus fastened in front of the curtain holder 1, concealing it. However, it can be easily removed again by pulling the fastening pins 4 out of the receptacles 5.

The fastening pins 4 and the receptacles 5 have aligned vertical bores 9 into which a fastening bolt 8 engages from the top to fix the fastening pins 4 in the receptacles 5.

The curtain holder 1 is provided with brackets 10 on its back, which allow it to be attached to a wall with screws 11. This is a curtain holder 1 provided with rails 6.

Decorative elements 7 are attached to the panel 2, in the example case in the form of ovals.
