Description
Für die Sanierung stark organisch verschmutzter Gewässer wurden sogenannte Biomatten aus Polyester Monofil in einem Schlammteich, der aufgrund anaerober Fäulnis Methan und geruchsintensive Gase emittiert, getestet. Als Aufwuchsfläche für aerobe Mikroben wurde die überbaute Schlammfläche mit einer Biomatte aus einem Abstandsgewirke überdacht. Dabei handelt es sich um ein dreidimensionales Gewirke aus Trevira-Monofil mit wabenförmigen Strukturen und geraden Distanzfäden.
Gemäß einer weiteren Ausgestaltung der Erfindung können die Trägertextilien für die Mikroorganismen mit zusätzlichen Stützelementen (z. B. eingearbeitete elastische Netze, Bänder, Halteschlingen, Druckluftkissen) ausgebildet werden, um die Textilien in engen Kontakt mit der zu entsalzenden Schicht öder Fraktion bei unterschiedlichem Oberflächenprofil zu bringen. Diese Zusatzelemente können zum Beispiel beim Nadelvliesherstellungsprozess direkt in oder auf die textile Fläche eingearbeitet werden. Kommt zusätzlich die oben beschriebene Folienschutzschicht mit zum Einsatz, werden diese Zusatzelemente bei der Verbundherstellung zwischen Textilie und Folienschicht angeordnet und entsprechend befestigt.
