Zur Sicherung des im Bett Befindlichen ist es unter anderem zudem aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt, Seitengitter oder Seitenlehnen vorzusehen, die ein ungewolltes Herausfallen des im Bett befindlichen Patienten verhindern. Das Anschlußelement ist beispielsweise stiftförmig ausgebildet und mit einer korrespondierend ausgestalteten Halteeinrichtung verbindbar.
