Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung für Topfpflanzen, bestehend aus einer Faltkiste als Uinverpackung und mindestens einem Verpackungseinsatz als Innenverpackung.The invention relates to a packaging for potted plants, consisting of a folding box as inner packaging and at least one packaging insert as inner packaging.

Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß jede Stützklappe eine parallel und im Abstand zur Klappenfaltlinie verlaufende Zwischenfaltlinie aufweist. Die an den beiden Faltlinien gegebene Gelenkverbindung ermöglicht es, jede Stützklappe nach dem Einsetzen der Topfpflanze in seitlicher Richtung in den Verpackungseinsatz einzuschieben, ohne daß der bereits eingesetzte Pflanzentopf noch in Verpackungslängsrichtung bewegt werden müßte. Dadurch wird es möglich, für den Einsatzboden einen sich beim Aufrichten des vorgefertigten Verpackungseinsatzes selbsttätig aufrichtenden Schnellverschlußboden zu wählen, auf den der Pflanzentopf abgestellt wird und anschließend seine Lage nicht mehr verändert, während die beiden Stützklappen von den Seiten her eingeschoben und durch die Stützvorsprünge in ihrer Lage gesichert werden. Nach dem Einbringen in die Umverpackung können die Stützklappen nicht mehr seitlich herausbewegt werden und werden dadurch in ihrer Lage in jeder Richtung gesichert.
