Description

Getränke- und Konservendosen, die sich in geleertem Zustand ineinander stapeln lassenBeverage and food cans that can be stacked inside each other when empty

BeschreibungDescription

The state of the art is that both cans and, in their special form, drinks cans have a purely cylindrical shape. The waste problem has not yet been optimally solved for all cans of the shape shown. If one were to depart from the specification of a purely cylindrical shape, possibilities arise which are described below and are based on already known technical facts. Cans can be stacked one inside the other if the circumference of the lid on one side (top) is different from that of the other side (bottom). Round cans are mainly considered, but the principle also applies to cans of other shapes (rectangular, oval, etc.). In principle, the most common can is the round can, which has a larger lid diameter at the top than at the bottom and can be opened over its entire surface using a tear-off ring (Fig. 2, entire lid opening tab). In addition to the possibility of removing the entire lid, the drinking can should also have the option of creating a drinking opening by attaching an additional tab (as is generally used) (Fig. 1, drinking opening tab) (which is important for carbonated drinks). As a rule, the lever point for the drinking tab opening is in the middle of the lid, and the lever point for removing the lid is on the edge of the area to be removed. It seems most sensible to position the pull handle for the drinking opening above the pull handle for the entire lid opening (Fig. 3, drinking opening tab above the entire lid opening tab), which makes optimal use of the leverage and also prevents confusion for the user.

dass 1) ganz allgemein das Abfallvolumen reduziert wird (durch Ineinanderstapeln und Verfügen der Deckelthat 1) the volume of waste is generally reduced (by stacking and disposing of the lids

in die zuoberst gestapelte Dose) 2) bei möglichem Einführen des Dosenpfandes durch Markieren der beim Stapeln überstehenden Dosenteile ein ökonomisches Abrechnen (ggfs. durch Scanner) des Pfandwertes gewährleistet ist und der Verbraucher einen zusätzlichen Anreiz zu sinnvollem Recycling erhält.into the can stacked on top) 2) if the can deposit is introduced, by marking the parts of the cans that protrude when stacking, an economical calculation of the deposit value is ensured (if necessary by scanner) and the consumer is given an additional incentive to recycle sensibly.

Claims (1)

Cans, in particular beverage cans, which can be stacked one inside the other, characterized in that the circumferences of the top and bottom sides differ from one another in diameter and the stackability is ensured by a pull-off tab with which the entire can lid can be removed and, in the case of beverage cans, by a second tab which ensures a drinking opening.
