Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlkissen für die Anwendung im medizinischen und touristischen Bereich, im Bereich der Wandertouristik und des Campings, Veranstaltungen im Freien sowie anderer mit dem Erfordernis einer spontaner Kühlung begleitender Anwendungsgebiete, mit dem bei der erstmaligen Anwendung der jeweilige vorgesehene Kühlvorgang spontan ausgelöst werden kann und bei nachfolgenden Anwendungen des Kühlkissens wie bei Kühlkissen des Standes der Technik zwecks Aufladung dieses extern gekühlt wird. So wird nach dem DE 29 81 1496 U 1 ein Getränkebehälter mit einem internem Kühlmittel beschrieben, mit dem ohne Vorkühlung und ohne die Verwendung von isolierten Transportbehältern direkt vor Ort, ohne externe Hilfsmittel zum Augenblick des Verzehrs, allerorts gekühlt werden kann. Da bei diesen Gelegenheiten nicht immer die Möglichkeit einer Kühlung der Getränke vorhanden ist, bedarf es für den Transport die Anwendung von Kühltaschen o. ä. Zwecks Erreichung der Kühlung ist der Getränkebehälter mit einem internen Reaktionsmittelbehälter ausgestattet. Durch den Verbraucher wird der Reaktionsmittelbehälter mittels einer Vorrichtung aktiviert. Dadurch findet eine Reaktion der Komponenten Salz mit Wasser statt, deren chemische Vereinigung zum Kühlmittel wird. Nachteilig an diesem Getränkebehälter ist, die nur einmalig mögliche Anwendung der Einrichtung. Bekannt sind auch Kühlkissen, die nur für eine einmalige Anwendung geeignet sind. Das erfindungsgemäße Kühlkissen soll nachfolgend anhand eines Ausführungsbeispieles näher erläutert werden. Innerhalb des Kühlkissens befindet sich ein Salzgemisch aus Ammoniumnitrat und einen aus Methylcellulose - Natrium bestehendem Gelbildner. Der Gelbildner wird mit dem Ammoniumnitrat verrieben bis ein homogenes, feinkristallines Salzgemisch entsteht. Desweiteren beinhaltet das Gelkissen einen Aktivator, der aus einem Gemisch aus Wasser und Lebensmittelfarbe besteht. Wasser und Lebensmittelfarbe werden in ein Folientütchen abgefüllt, das Folientütchen verschweißt und zusammen mit dem Salzgemisch in das Kühlkissen eingeschweißt. An Stelle des Ammoniumnitrates kann sich im Inneren des Kühlkissens auch eine Kältemischung, wie z. B. Mischungen aus Salzen oder Trockeneis mit Wasser, Eis oder organischen Flüssigkeiten, die sich bei ihrer Zusammenführung abkühlen, befinden. Durch äußeren mechanischen Druck auf den Aktivator wird dieser zerstört und durch die Vermischung mit den im Kühlkissen vorhandenen Substanzen kommt es zur Kältereaktion. Der Umgebung wird Wärmeenergie entzogen und die Temperatur des Kältekissens sinkt auf ca. Null Grad Celsius ab. Durch Hinzufügen von geeigneten gefrierpunktherabsetzenden Zusätzen bleibt die Viskosität des Kältekissens auch bei ca. 18 Grad Celsius (Gefrierschranktemperatur) erhalten. Nach der erstmaligen Nutzung entsteht nach ca. 24 Stunden ein blaues, klares, homogenes, hochviskoses Gel.
