Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Navigationsvorrichtung für ein Kraftfahrzeug sowie ein Verfahren zur Auswertung und Weitergabe von Verkehrsinformationen. Zur Unterstützung eines Kraftfahrzeugführers zum Erreichen eines gewünschten Zielpunktes sind Navigationsvorrichtungen bekannt, die im Wesentlichen eine digitale Straßenkarte und eine Positionseinrichtung umfassen. Möchte nun der Kraftfahrzeugführer zu einem Zielpunkt gelotst werden, so gibt dieser den Zielpunkt über eine Eingabeeinheit in die Navigationsvorrichtung 1. Mittels der Positionsbestimmungseinrichtung, die beispielsweise als GPS-Empfänger ausgebildet ist, kennt die Navigationsvorrichtung die aktuelle Position und errechnet eine Route zu dem Zielpunkt Die zu fahrende Route wird dann akustisch und/oder visuell dem Kraftfahrzeugführer mitgeteilt. Durch die Zuordnung einer Verkehrsflussbewertungseinrichtung sowie einer Sendeeinheit, wobei die Sende- und Empfangseinheit als Fahrzeug-Fahrzeug-Kommunikationssystem ausgebildet ist, wird ein dynamisches Navigationssystem, ohne zentrale Leitstellen geschaffen. Jedes Kraftfahrzeug empfängt von anderen Kraftfahrzeugen ausgesendete Verkehrsinformationen und berücksichtigt diese bei seiner Fahrtroutenplanung. Gleichzeitig sendet jedes Kraftfahrzeug Verkehrsinformationen über seine aktuelle Position aus, die es mittels der Verkehrsflussbewertungseinheit ermittelt hat oder von anderen Kraftfahrzeugen empfangen hat. Weiter ist eine Bewertungseinheit mit der Fahrtroutenberechnungs-Einheit verbunden, mit der anhand von Verkehrsinformationen, die von anderen Kraftfahrzeugen eingehen, prüfbar ist, ob sich irgendwelche Verkehrsvorkommnisse auf der bisher berechneten Fahrtroute ereignet haben. Daraus ergibt sich der Vorteil, dass eine alternative Fahrtroute unter Umgehung einer Störstelle errechnet werden kann. Schließlich ist die Bewertungseinheit als Fuzzy-Logik und/oder als neuronales Netz ausgebildet, wodurch eine komplexere Bewertung des Verkehrsflusses ohne höheren schaltungstechnischen Aufwand möglich ist.
