Abstract

The outer casing is divided into two lateral, mirror-image halves (7,8) which have interlocking edges for transferring thrust along the helmet's (1) longitudinal center plane. The hinge (2) is positioned in, or a little behind, the helmet's crown part. The fastening (6) is in the helmet's chin part. The front recess in the outer casing has a visor (21,22) also divided along a longitudinal center line. The inside of the casing-halves are lined with shock absorbent layers (9,10).

Wie bereits dargelegt, ist ein wesentliches Merkmal der Erfindung in einer Unterteilung des allgemein mit 1 bezeichneten Schutzhelms in der Längsmittelebene zu sehen, so daß in der Seitenansicht der Fig. 1 die Trennungsebene identisch mit der Zeichenebene erscheint.
