Abstract
Description
Trommelscanner werden zur Abtastung und Datenerfassung von Bildvorlagen benutzt. Bei Scannern mit vertikaler Achsrichtung wird eine in Achsrichtung kompakte Bauform angestrebt. Die Funktionseinheiten des Trommelscanners müssen zur Erzielung hoher Abtastqualität von einem möglichst steifen, eigen schwingungsfreien Maschinenständer aufgenommen werden. Die vorliegende Erfindung erfüllt diese Aufgabenstellung in besonderer Weise, indem, anders als bei bisher bekannt gewordenen Trommelscannern, die Aufnahmekonstruktion für die Trommelscannerkomponenten als halbrohrähnliches Strangpreßteil ausge bildet ist, das zur Erzielung optimaler Steifigkeit gegen Biegung und Torsion geeignete Verrippungen besitzt. Die Anwendung der Strangpreßtechnologie ge stattet zusätzlich, die Geräteverkleidung aufwandsparend zu minimieren, da der Maschinenständer mit seiner homogenen Oberfläche Verkleidungsfunktionen übernimmt. Außerdem spart sie in besonderem Maße Konstruktionsgewicht.Drum scanners are used for scanning and data acquisition of image originals used. Die Abtasttrommel ist in einem Metallflansch (2) gefaßt und ruht mit diesem auf dem Motorflansch (5), der eine Einheit mit dem Antriebsmotor (6) bildet. Metallflansch (2) und Motorflansch (5) sind durch nicht sichtbare, innen liegende Spannvorrichtungen gekoppelt, die im Motorflansch (5) untergebracht sind. Während eines Abtastvorgangs rotiert die Trommel (1) und bewegt sich ein Abtastlift (10) mit Innenbeleuchtungsarm (7) und Abtastkopf (8) parallel zur Trommelachse. Dabei wird eine auf der Trommeloberfläche montierte Bildvorlage durch einen Lichtstrahl (9) in Abtastzeilen zerlegt. Der Trommelantrieb besitzt eine Hohlachse, durch die der Innenbeleuchtungsarm (7) geführt werden kann. Um die Anordnung von Trommel mit Antrieb (1), (2), (5), (6) und Abtastlift (10) in Relation zum aufnehmenden Maschinenständer (4) einfach und anschaulich darstellen zu können, ist der Ständer geschnitten gezeigt, wobei die Schnittfläche vereinfacht durch die Schraffur symbolisiert ist und Details der Verrippungen nicht aufweist. Ein Lagerbock (3) fixiert den Trommelantrieb mit der zugehörigen Abtasttrommel. Fig. 1 demonstrates the principle of a drum scanner with a vertical drum axis.
