Abstract

Cooling water for motor vehicles passes through a flexible hose consisting of several plastic layers (1,2,3), of which the inner layer is of polyvinylidene fluoride. The inner layer is pref. surrounded by an adhesion promoting layer of the same material, which is in turn surrounded by an outer layer of polyamide. Pref. polyamides are PA 11 and PA 12.

Description

The invention relates to a flexible cooling water pipe for Motor vehicles.

So far as flexible cooling water pipes for motor vehicles witness only known reinforced rubber hoses. From Such cooling water pipes is in addition to a high Fle xibility a resistance especially to Glycol and other cooling water additives are required. About that In addition, the cooling water pipes must have a good resistance in low temperature ranges of -40 ° C and in have high temperature ranges up to + 120 ° C.

These requirements have led to the fact that so far Reinforced rubber hoses as flexible cooling water pipes have been used.

The production of reinforced rubber hoses for use dung as cooling water pipes is complex and expensive.

The invention has for its object flexible cooling water To create wiring for motor vehicles made of art are extrudable.

This problem is solved with the features of Labeling part of claim 1. Preferred embodiment shapes are described in the subclaims.

The provision of an inner layer of PVDF at the same time Construction of the cooling water pipe from several plastic layers ten leads to a cooling water pipe, which the high ge meets the requirements. Here it turns out as particularly advantageous that the inner plastic layer made of PVDF is enclosed by an adhesive layer, which essentially also consists of PVDF. For the Another outer layer proves the use of poly amid as very helpful.

The particularly preferred cooling water line has an In layer made of PVDF and an outer layer made of PA 11 or PA 12. There is one between the outer layer and the inner layer Adhesion promoter layer provided, which at least essentially made of PVDF. Such flexible cooling water Cable proves to be suitable for endurance tests, all high demands on flexible cooling water pipes for power vehicles to meet. So a sufficient tempera Resistance to low and high temperatures aims, and there is also sufficient durability against glycol or other antifreeze or usual Cooling water additives.

Es zeigen:A preferred embodiment of the Er invention explained in detail using the drawing. It demonstrate:

Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch eine dreischichtige flexible Kühlwasserleitung, Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a three-layered flexible cooling water line,

Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt entlang II-II in Fig. 1. FIG. 2 shows a cross section along II-II in FIG. 1.

The graphic representation is not to scale. For the sake of clarity, the three layers in the upper region of FIG. 1 are also of different lengths.

An inner layer 1 made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) preferably has a layer thickness of the order of 0.1 to 0.3 mm. The inner layer 1 is surrounded by an adhesive layer 2 , which at least essentially also consists of PVDF. In practice, their thickness is on the order of 0.05 to 0.15 mm. An outer plastic layer is preferably made of polyamide in a thickness range of 0.7 to 1.5 mm. PA 11 and PA 12 have proven to be suitable.
