Abstract

In a membrane fluid filtration process, a filter element which comprises a membrane and a supporting plate is placed directly inside a vessel, gully or similar, a suction pump abstracts fluid from between the membrane and the supporting plate and the filter membrane is rinsed from time to time by a jet directed at the outer membrane face. The fluid is a liq. food or drink, e.g. beer, milk, fruit, vegetable juice, or coolant, water, water effluent or polluted water which has leeched from refuse tips. The fluid used for membrane rinsing is separately collected and removed.

Description

The invention relates to a method for membrane filtration tion according to claim 1 of the main patent DE 44 13 640 C1.

In the course of further development has been shown that the system for Generation of a filtrate stream from liquid media such as Emulsions, juices and porridges such as B. in food medium-sized industry, is ideally suited. Can too the liquid medium is beer or milk.

To obtain a largely bacteria and algae free fil Pedal flow from liquid medium are membrane filter systems known, which are based on the so-called cross-flow principle. Here becomes a liquid medium at high speed through a Pipe membrane pumped through, the resulting coating on the Membrane constantly slow through the flow of liquid transported and thereby a fast clogging of the Membrane is avoided. The filtrate passes through the outside Pipe membrane through and is caught in a jacket tube.

These filter systems are common in the food industry unsuitable because of the large amount required for the process of the liquid medium is not available.

Furthermore, filter processes are known in which the liquid Medium in individual, successive batches by a pa pierbandfilter sent and in this way generated filtrate becomes. The paper tape runs automatically after the filtration of each batch matically further.

The disadvantage of this method is the constant consumption of Filter paper and the associated running costs. In addition, the liquid medium must first from the reservoir to Paper belt filters are transported, for which purpose. T. a considerable one apparatus expenditure is necessary.

The invention specified in claims 1, 2 and 3 the problem is underlying, even with small amounts of food or Stimulants, coolants or contaminated water get along need and the equipment effort and ongoing operations to minimize costs.

This problem is solved by the in claims 1, 2 and 3 listed features solved.

An essential part of the membrane filter system is a fil terelement that goes directly into the storage container during filter operation is introduced, which contains the liquid medium. This will an additional feed pump is unnecessary. In addition, the filter element due to its conception in size and shape train almost any number of different stocks adjust container.

As soon as the filter membrane clogs up, the complete fil terelement with the help of a lifting device from the liquid Medium lifted and passed a jet of liquid. An appropriately trained nozzle fans out the jet, so that he can cover the entire width of the filter element. Here is the deposited on the membrane surface particle, fat or Colloid layer washed down by the liquid jet. After flushing, the cleaned filter element is in again the medium is lowered and brings back the original Filtrate output.

In an embodiment according to claim 4 is between Filterele ment and storage container pushed a collecting device, so soon the filter element from the reservoir with the liquid Medium was lifted out. Only then will the liquid jet switched on. The rinsing liquid is in the drip pan tion collected and derived separately. A pollution the liquid medium with rinsing liquid is in this way avoided. Before lowering the filter element into the front the container is pulled off again.

In an embodiment according to claim 5, the filter element moved away from its position over the liquid medium and over a catcher is guided once it is out of the medium was raised. Only then is the liquid jet shuttered tet. The rinsing liquid is picked up in the collecting device catch and derived separately. At the end of the flush process, the filter element is again on the liquid medium led and then lowered into this.
