Verfahren zur Herstellung von Antimonlaktatdoppelsalzen. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 22. Februar 1905 ab. Process for the production of antimony lactate double salts. Patented in the German Empire on February 22, 1905.
In patents 98939, 136135 and 148069 describes processes for the production of antimony lactate double salts by Action of a mixture of free lactic acid with lactates of alkalis, alkaline earths and earth metals (which mixtures are called acidic lactates) on antimony oxide as such or in the state of formation (antimony metal -J- oxygen). It has now been found that by using neutral lactates you can also use antimohlactate double salts by treating antimonyl sulfate with alkali lactate. It finds thereby double conversion to antimony lactate and alkali sulfate takes place. Crystallizes on evaporation the latter first and can for the most part be deposited. For this implementation In addition to the alkali lactates, neutral water-soluble lactates of those metals are suitable whose sulfates are easily soluble in water, so z. B. also magnesium lactate and Aluminum lactate. The neutral lactates of the alkaline earth, on the other hand, go with antimonyl sulfate little reaction even when heated, probably as a result of superficial reactions Formation of insoluble alkaline earth sulfate. The changeover takes place very easily. Deposition of antimonyl sulphate also with alkaline earth lactate in the presence of neutral solutions of lactates, alkali metals and other metals which form soluble sulphates.
The antimony salts produced by the new process are used as pickling.
Beispiel 1. ,.Example 1. ,.
Antimonlaktat-Natriumlaktat.
500 Teile Schwefelantimon (Antimon, crudum)
500 parts of sulfur antimony (antimony, crudum) are converted into antimony sulphate by treatment with sulfuric acid in a known manner. The cooled reaction product is poured into cold water, and the gray precipitate which has separated out is washed with water to remove any free sulfuric acid that may still be present. The antimonyl sulphate obtained in this way or in any other way is added to a mildly heated solution of neutral sodium lactic acid. The mixture is stirred until the antimonyl sulfate has dissolved (if, as described above, one has started from sulfur antimony, which separates the sulfur added to the antimonyl sulfate): If one starts from 500 parts of sulfur antimony, then one needs about 1900 parts with soda neutralized 5% lactic acid. After any filtering, the solution is concentrated until the sodium sulfate formed in the double reaction is deposited. After removing this sulfate, it is evaporated to dryness. In this way, a crystalline antimony lactate which is soluble in water without decomposition is obtained.
Natriumlaktat, welches noch geringe Mengen Natriumsulfat enthält.Sodium lactate, which still contains small amounts of sodium sulfate.
Antimon-Natrium-Calciumlaktat.Antimony Sodium Calcium Lactate.
That, as indicated in Example 1, from 500 parts of sulfur antimony or in another way The antimonyl sulfate produced is 850 parts of 5 <3 percent lactic acid neutralized with soda touched; then 740 parts of neutral lactic acid dissolved in water are added admitted. The sulfuric acid in the antimonyl sulfate separates out as gypsum. The one of this Clearly filtered solution is evaporated and solidifies to a crystalline look on cooling, only a little hygroscopic salt, which is easily and clearly soluble in water.
