Die Erfindung bildet eine Ausführungsform des durch Patent 179455 geschützten Dampfkessels, dessen wesentlichstes Merkmal darin besteht, daß der Dampfsammler dachförmig gestaltet ist und an seinen Schenkelenden mit Vorwärmern in Verbindung steht, die eine solche Höhenlage haben, daß der Wasserspiegel in ihnen gleiche Höhe mit dem Wasserspiegel im Dampfsammler hat, dessen Wasserinhalt im Vergleich mit dem der Vorwärmer gering ist. In diesem Patent ist zugleich die Anordnung von Fallröhren dargestellt, die unmittelbar an die unteren Schenkelteile des dachförmigen Dampfsammlers angeschlossen sind.
