Der vorliegende Überhitzer für Schiffskessel ist in der Weise eingerichtet, daß das die Überhitzerrohre umschließende Rohr ohne die Feuerkammer zu durchdringen, den Kessel in seiner ganzen Länge durchzieht und an beiden Enden mit Sammelkörpern ausgestattet ist, die von außen leicht zugänglich sind. Das Umschließungsrohr ist durch Querrohre mit den Feuerkammern verbunden, deren Wandüngen an den dem Überhitzer benachbarten Stellen entsprechend ausgebuchtet sind.
