Die Erfindung betrifft einen Drahtbügelverschluß für Flaschen und ähnliche Gefäße, bei denen die Bügelenden hinter scharf vorspringenden Nasen in der Verschlußstellung festgehalten werden. Sie besteht darin, daß für die Zurückführung der Bügelenden in die Offenstellung eine besondere Bahn vorgesehen ist, die es ermöglicht, daß diese Bewegung bequem und sicher mit einer Hand ίο und ohne daß der Bügel in seiner Ebene gewaltsam auseinander gebogen werden muß, wie dies bei vorhandenen Vorrichtungen der Fall ist, bewerkstelligt werden kann. Auch wird nicht, wie dies bei einer anderen Gattung von Verschlüssen der Fall ist, der Bügel vor Erreichung der Schlußstellung stärker auf Zug beansprucht, als in dieser selbst, sondern er hat in der Schlußstellung die größte Spannung.

Die Wirkungsweise des Verschlusses ist folgende: Von der Offenstellung nach Fig. 5 ausgehend, wird der Verschlußkopf so bewegt, daß er senkrecht über der Flaschenöffnung steht; dann wird der Bügel mit seinen Enden ■ in der Rinne h abwärts bewegt, so daß er in den Teil i (Fig. 1) gleitet und in der Ecke bei f über eine quer zu seiner Bahn verlaufende, scharf vorspringende Nase hinweg in die Rast k einschnappt (Fig. 3 und 7). Die Nase ist gekrümmt mit einem Radius etwa gleich der Bügellänge, um eine unnötige Spannung des Bügels zu vermeiden. Beim Öffnen wird der Bügel durch seitliches Drücken aus der Rast k herausgedrückt, dann an der Nase entlang nach dem Bogen g zu geführt, wo er unter schwacher Anspannung eine wenig vorspringende Nase überschreitet und in die Rast / einschnappt (Fig. 4 und 8).
