Den Hauptmangel dieser Vorrichtungen, die starke Belastung des Messinstrumentes durch die direkte Abtastung des Belichtungswertes, versuchte man durch die Anordnung von Anschlägen hinter dem Instrumentenzeiger zu beheben. Wohl wurde dadurch, dass der Zeiger von dem für eine exakte Verschlusseinstellung notwendigen Druck des Abtastgliedes von dem Anschlag aufgefangen wurde, das Messinstrument entlastet, jedoch nicht so, wie es für eine einwandfreie Dauerfunktion notwendig wäre.
