Durch die Neuerung soll eine Beinschutzkleidung für Motorradfahrer geschaffen werden, die den Anforderungen, einen sicheren Schutz gegen Kälte und Regen zu gewähren und vollkommen spritzsicher gegen ausscheidende Öl u. dgl. zu sein, völlig entspricht ohne dass die Beinkleider des Fahrers verunstaltet oder zerknittert werden, wie dies bei den bekannten hosen-oder gemaschenartigen Überzügen der Fall ist. Die Schutzkleidung soll weiter so ausgebildet sein, daß sie ständig am Motorrad belassen werden kann und dem Motorradfahrer das umständliche Überziehen eines Schutzanzuges oder einer Schutzhose erspart bleibt, sodaß er sich nur auf das Motorrad zu setzen braucht. Gemäß der Neuerung hat die Beinschutzkleidung die Form einer in den Knien gebogenen vorn und seitlich geschlossenen Hose mit nach hinten offenen Hosenbeinen und ohne Gesäß, die über den Rahmen des Rades gehängt werden kann und an den unteren Enden der Hosenbeine Mittel zur Befestigung am Radrahmen trägt. Es hat sich als zweckmässig erwiesen, den nach hinten offenen Hose beinen einen unteren Abschluß zu geben, an dessen Innenseite die Mittel zum Befestigen an den Fußrasten angebracht sind. Dabei werden die unteren Abschlüsse vorteilhaft durch Einlagen, zweckmässig aus Leder, verstärkt. Um Sicherheit gegen Beschmutzung nach der Seite des Rades hin zu gewährleisten, können die dem Rade zugekehrten Seitenteile zum Durchtritt von Bedienungsmitteln, z. B. des Fußschalthebels, geeignete Randausschnitte erhalten, die nach innen durch eine Uberschlaglasohe abgedeckt werden. Auch hier empfiehlt es sich, die Seitenteil im Bereiche der Randausschnitte durch vorteilhaft auf der Außenseite ange- ordnete Verstärkungen, z. B. aus Leder, zu verstärken und zu versteifen. Um alle Schwierigkeiten fir das Hineinkommen des Motorradfahrers in die Beinschutzkleidung beim Besteigen des Motorrades zu beseitigen, können in die Hosenbeine stabförmige Versteifungen eingearbeitet werden.
